We stopped to get gas on the way home to WI and something to eat. We planned on eating at Shoneys but it was too crowded so we looked up this place which was 6 miles away. What a gem! Their fried chicken was one of the best We ever had but everything was exceptional including the service. Outdoor tables as well.

Used to love eating here, I just wish the hours they opened were a bit later and the ordering service was still available. Especially those ordering for family’s it was easier. Will possibly come back at some point, but after issues online probably not.

Voted best lunch 2023 — still dang good today. Friendly service, awesome food! Restaurant is small, but has great outside seating too. They also do a booming take out business judging from the steady stream of smiling faces at the counter.

I just went here for the 1st time and I was thoroughly impressed. I met the owner who came to speak and between her and the staff made me feel like i was visiting family. Great experience! I had the Marry Me Chicken Breast with Glazed Carrots and the Mac N Cheese and it did not disappoint it was all delicious!! If your ever in Clanton, this is a must stop for Lunch! That is the only downfall to this place they only open for lunch, so make sure you during then. Worth every penny.

This place is my go-to soul food joint in the area. It’s definitely worth the short drive for me (especially when they have the fried chicken livers or the chicken wing boil). The Ritz Cracker Chicken Casserole is also a stand-out.

If you’re driving down I 65 and you want a home cooked meal , well your in luck! Take EXIT 205 in Clanton AL Turn right if you’re heading South and left if you’re North go 3.2 miles and on the right you’ll see this delicious little Soulfood café called Gaisha’s Place. I’m a very picky eater and I have to say this was one of the best meals I’ve had in years. I had 2 pieces Dark meat Fried Chicken, purple hull peas, side salad and flat jack cornbread and for dessert BANANA PEACH PUDDING . Believe me it’s worth driving a couple extra miles from all the “Normal” fast food restaurants you see on the freeway. The staff was very friendly, smiling faces and very polite. It has ourdoor or indoor dining. I will definitely be coming back! Thanks for the awesome meal guys!

My first time trying this restaurant. The food was delicious! I had turkey and dressing and it came with two sides and I got Mac and cheese and collard greens. It also came with a drink for the drink I chose peach lemonade which was a little too sweet for my liking. Overall this was a great experience the staff were very friendly and the restaurant was extremely clean.

Walked in with my Boss for lunch, Greeted by smiling faces. I looked around and everyone inside was Quite and eating! I found the right place! The food is so good no one wants to talk, just enjoy their meal! I had the best Meatloaf i have ever had. For a southern man that is saying something! The Black eyed peas and sweet potato were amazing. I did not need to put anything on any of it! All of it was perfectly seasoned! If you want a great meal made with Love and attention go try this place!
