We drove by and and we saw a guy carrying a box and it was steaming. We decided to place an order for dinner and eat at home. We live 3-4 minutes away. We got 2 pizzas, meatballs and bread knots. The atmosphere is nice and the people were great. Unfortunately, I cannot say the same for the food. It was our first time. The knots were HARD and cold. My family and I agreed that the pizza was not great at all either. It was cold as well. My kids love cheese pizza and refused to eat more than 2 bites. The meatballs were about the only thing worth eating. All in all we were highly disappointed. Maybe an off day? I don’t know.

The Saucy Minx pizza is my go-to perfectly balanced, saucy in the best way, and loaded with quality toppings. I got the Bruno and hummus plate with extra pita because I didn’t realize how big the pita would be. It was big and very soft and fresh tasting. The pizza was really good too though I felt the garlic was a little overpowering. I feel the only thing lacking was it would have been nice to have been given napkins, plates and maybe parm and red pepper. Being in a hotel those are not always available.

Food quality usually good, but the place just continues on a negative path …..today’s experience was making my to go order twice actually three times since both items had to be re-made but separately….and I will sit here and enjoy my 2nd slice of cold pizza and no dressing for my salad……Oh well….hadn’t been purposefully in a while and will keep it that way.

Arrive with our food sitting out on a table, cold, pizza soggy and sad, garlic knots burnt.
The staff at this location need serious training and supervision. Gaines street pies is a decent slice, but this location lacks service and quality.
Do not recommend.

Today ordered a pizza – asked for square cut – was told the manger, Hunter (who they had to call) said no square cuts (?) … pizza came to the table 70% burnt but we said we’d try it . Ate 2 slices and asked them to remake and the server advised “If you eat over half of it we can’t remake it without charging you!” (2 slices ????) they are remaking but this is weird customer service experience for what is normally a nice friendly location… Saturday Feb 28 @ 1pm.

We love the original Gaines Street Pies but this location has the exact same ingredients and quality. Same menu same flavor. Zoe the server/bartender is wonderful. Draft beer available. Small interior seating with patio as well. Fast service, cold drinks, fresh food. If this is your closest pizza spot you should be a regular.
