Loved the location and the waitstaff. Food was good. The only thing we didn’t care for was the spot lights for the wall decor shined directly into your eyes depending on where you sat.

Excellent find on our trip. Stopped in Guthrie, OK and found Gage’s on Google. Can’t say enough good about it! The atmosphere in an old renovated train depot was great, and the food and service were excellent. I had a cocktail, and between my wife and I 3 glasses of wine. I had the excellent South of France chicken and my wife had the beef kebab. The quality of everything was top-notch and we left very full without dessert. We would recommend Gage’s to anyone traveling through Guthrie, OK and will make it a place to visit again next time we’re near.

Amazing experience at Gages! Old train station which was very unique.
The buns before the meal were very high quality bread. Amazing house butter.
The special was a with a Ribeye with hollandaise. Cesar salads were very flavorful.
I had the chicken fried steak best I have had very crispy with Fresh green beans.
Our Service was amazing from the whole staff. Very caring and attentive.
Would suggest highly if you’re in town or just driving through.

My fiancé and I decided to eat here on a whim, and we didnt have any sort of expectation since we do not live near and have never heard of this place before. I can tell you we will DEFINITELY be back! We were delighted with the atmosphere, our service was good not great, however it was not the waitresses fault, she was over set in her section. We had the crab stuffed mushrooms as an appetizer (the only place I have ever had any compare to here is in curaçao), the filet and red snapper as our main course, then we had creme brulee for dessert. I can say my fiancé said it is the best filet he has ever had. My snapper was delicious as well. The sides of twice baked potatoes and roasted carrots and asparagus were also wonderful. Overall we were very impressed with this newfound treasure. We have already told friends and family about this place and we are only 15 minutes down the road.

Made reservations for our anniversary dinner and requested a quiet table. Arrived and were seated next to a large/loud group. Received bread with no plates and tea with no sweetener. We kept having to ask for things because the waiter kept forgetting to bring them. The food was good, but this was definitely not the best experience we’ve had for our special occasion.

First time here, New Year’s Eve reservations at 5:00 was seated promptly by very friendly host. Had a perfect seat right in front of the window overlooking the sunset. Our waitresses name was Ralen, She was extremely friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. She even offered a gluten-free menu after hearing a comment I made about a gluten intolerance. I ordered the surf and turf medium rare, three grilled shrimp, potatoes au gratin, and Julianne vegetables. I don’t give out great compliments often but it was truly one of the best meals I have had in a long time. The meat was not marinated but seasoned to perfection and cooked to a perfect medium rare. The potatoes and vegetables were also cooked to perfection paired with a house Cabernet have to say it’s one of the best meals in a while. My dining partner had the filet with a twice baked potato and asparagus medley. The filet was marinated and extremely tender but I have to say after trying both my unmarinated but seasoned perfectly sirloin medallions were far superior and more juicy. We finished the dinner with a creme brulee that was topped with fresh whipped cream and sliced strawberries (which was a little unexpected treat). A great meal coupled with an exceptional waitress made for a great New Year’s Eve. Just a couple of negatives and not really even negatives but the artichoke appetizer was literally three small spoons on 3 chips, delicious but so ridiculously small it was almost laughable. Something I felt was a little off was the lighting It was so extremely bright in the restaurant that it was almost uninviting. Looking into the bar area I would feel very uncomfortable because the lights were shining down so bright they were almost like interrogation lights. Just did not feel like a welcoming cozy sitting relax and have drinks environment. But nothing that would make me not want to go back again except I would not sit in the bar but I would in the dining room.

Best steak I’ve had in a long time. And twice baked potato was great too! We split one rib eye, I dint eat much, and two glasses of the house wine $7 each, excellent. Whole meal with tip was less than $60!

Easily one of the best places my wife and I have checked out recently. The atmosphere was excellent and the service was absolutely on point. Very professional and comfortable at the same time. The food was wonderful and so was the presentation. We went with friends and we all absolutely enjoyed ourselves. The cocktails were also amazing. I highly recommend!

Really exceptional spot. Our service was awesome and the food was tremendous. Great place for celebrations or just a good drink at the bar. The depot energy was also really neat. The weird bit was the hosting situation in the front which was a weirdly whatever experience especially for a Saturday night.

Just moved to the area and got to experience Gage’s for the first time to celebrate Valentine’s Day. The food was exceptional but it was the service we got that was top tier. Thank you Brandon for a memorable meal. We’ll be back!
