Nothing but great things to say. Food was awesome and fresh! Everyone should just skip every Mexican restaurant from Beaumont to Lufkin and eat here. They do not sell beer or mixed drinks but the food is soon dang good you’ll never miss the dos equis or top shelf margaritas. Just have some waiting for afterwards.
Update: I ordered fajita tacos. I’m sad to say this but “IT” was not fajita meat. I’m not sure what kinda of meat I would call that, pretty sure it came out of can .

Hi I buy a steak ranchero they served fajita meat don’t even have salt anyways.
This place don’t have radio or some music I have to hear a child crying and screaming during 15 minutes to take me in this place.

No soap in restroom, no hot water to wash hands. Salsa is pretty good! It’s warm, so bonus authenticity there. Staff were present but I sat waiting for my order to be taken for 5+ min after I’ve put the menu down. Still haven’t been offered a straw to drink from, so I’m not sure how the tea tastes. Clean atmosphere, clean restaurant overall. ✅ No AC in bathroom area⁉️, summertime is coming, small cramped & hot isn’t for everyone. Food just got delivered, extremely quick 2-3mins. Straw is too short for cups they give you, you’re gonna lose your straw.❗️
Sweet Tea- pretty sweet❗️. Recommend 1/2 & 1/2 for those watching sugar intake.

Overall this restaurant does exactly what it’s supposed to do. Cater to older gringos. I’ve been finished with food for about 10mins now, waiting on staff to acknowledge me. The red wall they are behind is too tall. The employees can’t see the floor. Apparently you pay at the counter, so don’t wait for a ticket.
It’s alright overall, I think for the location and the price point it does exactly what it’s supposed to do. Nothing stellar about this place.

Visited this restaurant at 3pm on a Tuesday. The food was good and the staff was friendly and attentive. I ordered a Steak Tampiquena plate and a Dr pepper. The food tasted great and the restaurant was clean. The restroom was cleaned and well stocked. Based on this visit, I’d stop by again for lunch or dinner service.

Be sure to go on Fish Friday. It is hard finding a place with good fish and you would not think to order fish from a Mexican restaurant, but I will brag…. They have the best fish.

This place is amazing, it’s small but very authentic and clean. The verde chicken enchiladas are amazing and the portions are generous. The staff was friendly. Definitely recommend if you find yourself in Corrigan, TX. We were taking my Dad to the airport in Houston and wanted some good Mexican food and we were not disappointed.
