We found this gem on a google search. My husband and I were traveling with two other couples and a teenager. We had 2 car trailers, there was plenty of room for us in their huge lot right behind the restaurant. We were sat promptly, staff was friendly and super efficient! Both food and drink menu were huge with lots of inexpensive options. Everyone in our party was beyond happy that we found The Gabby Goat!!

Visiting from out of town. Family introduced me to the Gabby Goat. First off, love the name. Mixed feelings about the Goat though. Extremely small space for such a crowd of customers. Wasn’t comfortable with the cramped space. Service was fantastic. Food, well for the cost absolutely not worth it. Drunken Pig, delicious flavor, but the portion size, never would I pay for such a tiny sandwich. My chicken wrap was so dry, I asked for Ranch bacon wrap. I received a dry, dry salad in a wrap, where’s the bacon? Green bean appetizer was the best part of the meal. Many have no issue with product shrinkage, but I do. Therefore this is not a spot I will eat at. Shame too, decor was great. But not worth my money.

I had the pulled pork burger with onion strings. The food was amazing, with only a short wait. The staff was friendly! I will definitely be coming back the next time I’m in Effingham!

Found this gem coming back from vacation. It started a bit rocky with no one acknowledging us for the first 10 minutes. We soon realized there was only one waitress, but 2-3 hostesses. Once the waitress came over she was great fast to take our order, bring drinks and food. We had an appetizer and main dishes. All the food was excellent. And have a great selection of craft beer. Overall good experience, only suggestion to the place maybe another waitress and one less hostess. That poor girl was running while others there were sitting at one of the tables.

We ordered way too much for two people! I love their steak bites. We had enough leftovers for another meal which is always nice. This place is always busy! We had to wait a few minutes to be seated. We ended up sitting in the covered patio type area.
