Arrived here in Elizabeth City with husband for a business job. I really enjoy my gizzards meal. They were cooked to my liking, great taste, not fried hard and crispy. Also my sides are delicious except I could’ve had my fries cooked a little bit crispier. Overall my dinner I rate 4.9. Highly recommended if you’re into Soul food.

I absolutely love G & T’s. They always give you that WOW customer experience and the food is delicious. I am not from this area and travel here from time to time for work. I have no idea why I didn’t try G&T’s before the last month…..no excuses. My favorite is the meatloaf dinner and chicken and dumplings. Their chicken s amazing and I haven’t found one negative thing to say. The portions are huge and prices are low ($20-30 for two huge meals). You will forever have me as a customer when I am working in Elizabeth City. Thank you for giving me a great place to enjoy my meals. Working 12hr night shifts in the hospital means you get your food early or you don’t eat. Thanks for keeping me nourished with great food while I serve the Elizabeth City community.❤️

Amazing food!! Definitely authentic southern food. Fried chicken was lightly breaded and very moist. Catfish and shrimp was delightful. Not overly fried or breaded. Large shrimp. Delicious potato salad, collards and mashed potatoes. A must if eating out in Elizabeth City.

Polite staff. Host offered me a drink while I was waiting for my food to be prepared. Order only took maybe 15min from the time that I placed it until It was ready. Food wasn’t cheap but it was worth it. Shrimp was seasoned well.

Kool aid & sweet tea goes very well with your food. Turkey wings, rice & gravy with green beans were very good. Staff is friendly. No wait time on the day I went. I recommend and will return!

Hey Elizabeth City you have to give this great dine in spot a chance, you will not be dissatisfied!! The Cornbread was off the chain!!! The food was delicious,delightful and Hot! The owner is very personable!! You can’t go wrong with this one!!
