G.58 Cuisine’s building and architectural features consist of beautiful art pieces, commissioned by local and Chinese artists internationally, to represent a bridge between cultures. Our silk lights are made to look like lotus flowers, our windows are floor to ceiling, and we have a magnificent koi fish pond outside, filling our restaurant with flora and fauna inside and out. We welcome all to come and enjoy Chinese fine dining; however, we have dishes that are lit on fire, entrees with boiling oil, and plates that are extremely hot. Please be mindful of this information if you bring young children. Our dress code is generally business casual, however, we understand and respect that circumstances surrounding travel may not all…
Chic, contemporary eatery with art-filled walls & lotus chandeliers offers Chinese & Sichuan dishes.

Reviews
The service was exceptional. The staff was attentive, friendly, and genuinely focused on making sure everything was perfect without being intrusive.
And the food — absolutely phenomenal. This is hands down some of the best-tasting Chinese cuisine I’ve ever had. Every dish was flavorful, fresh, and perfectly balanced. I’ll definitely be coming back!!
For me, that moment was in 2015 over a plate of epic wings at Mission Chinese, first in San Franscisco, then on New York’s Lower East Side. Ever since, I’ve been searching for that specific, addictive “numbing” sensation—a quest that recently led me to G58 Chinese Cuisine in Morrisville.
Known traditionally as La Zi Ji (or Chongqing Chicken), this dish is the antithesis of the syrupy, vegetable-heavy Kung Pao chicken found on standard Chinese/American menus. At G58, it is executed with precision:
* The Texture: Small, bite-sized pieces of chicken are fried to a perfect crisp.
* The Aromatics: It’s a dry stir-fry, tossed in a fragrant dish of dried red chilies, garlic, ginger, and—most importantly—Sichuan peppercorns.
* The “Mala” Factor: For the uninitiated, the peppercorns provide a numbing sensation (scary at first, but deeply satisfying once you’re hooked) that balances the heat of the chilies.
While G58’s presentation is slightly more restrained with the chili-to-chicken ratio than some of the “buried in peppers” versions I’ve seen, the flavor profile is spot on. It’s a clean, high-end interpretation of a rustic classic.
G58 isn’t your average neighborhood spot; it brings a genuine sense of occasion to the Triangle. I stopped in for a solo lunch on a quiet Wednesday in January and was immediately struck by the stunning interior design—it’s sleek, modern, and undeniably upscale.
The service was seamless and attentive, making a solo lunch feel like a curated experience rather than a quick bite.
Though I only had the bandwidth for one dish this time, the Szechuan Spice Chicken was enough to prove that G58 understands the nuance of Szechuan heat.
This is creative, elevated Chinese dining that the Cary/Morrisville area is lucky to have. I’m already planning my return trip to explore the rest of their more adventurous menu items.
The portion is small but the price is surprisingly high, a comment from a New York City resident. One of the special tea is $25/pot with 2 cups, and charged $5 for extra cup. Service is good. The management team must spend much on staff training.
Recommend to people value atmosphere over food, not recommend to foodies value Chinese cuisine.
The ambience at G58 is warm and inviting, setting the perfect tone for an elevated dining experience. The staff were attentive, friendly, and truly enhanced the overall experience with their excellent service.
If you’re looking for an exceptional meal and don’t mind a bit of a wait for perfection, G58 is absolutely worth visiting.
The lamb was tender and bursting with flavor, and every cocktail we tried was well-balanced and creative. Phillip recommended a few house specialties that really impressed us. For dessert, we ended with the molten chocolate cake—rich, warm, and perfectly gooey—paired with a chilled limoncello, which was the perfect finish.
The ambiance is elegant yet welcoming, ideal for both special occasions and upscale dining experience. With impeccable service, outstanding cuisine, and a thoughtful drink menu, G58 Cuisine delivers a top-tier dining experience. We will absolutely be back—and we’ll be asking for Phillip again. He made an already incredible luncheon even more memorable!
We also tried a cocktail and a mocktail. Both were refreshing and unique without being overly sweet. The lychee and honeydew flavors stood out from the usual bar offerings.
The lobster wontons were packed with a generous piece of high-quality lobster and came with the best sweet chili sauce I’ve ever had. Surprisingly, the cauliflower was the sleeper hit. Perfectly cooked, dotted with pork, and coated in a mildly spicy sauce.
Dessert was a lovely finish: a petite red velvet cake with what tasted like homemade whipped cream on top.
The space is gorgeous, with tasteful art and even a koi pond visible from our table. Service was exceptional from start to finish.
Highly recommend for a special celebration or date night. Elevated dining at its finest.
