Whoever put the bowl together filled it 1/4 of the way with the rest of the bowl empty. It’s called a BRISKET burrito bowl yet there was hardly any brisket with a pinch of lettuce, cheese at the very bottom, maybe a tablespoon of cilantro rice, and tons upon tons of jalapeños (nearly whole jalapeños). Don’t even get me started on the massive amount of liquid that was at the bottom of my bowl as well from what? I have no clue. Then the bag everything came in they literally just threw it in the bag so the ranch cups, salsa cups, and the jalapeño cups were all open instead of the lids being closed on them. They also didn’t include my daughters little churro bites in her meal when it’s supposed to be included in the price as well as little to no cheese on my boyfriend’s nachos. Something that’s smothered in cheese didn’t have cheese and a complete mess. Make it make sense.
Fuzzys used to be the best place to eat quality and quantity wise. Great food, great atmosphere, the servers at the time were amazing, and the food was inexpensive. Now it’s the other way around and not worth spending your money at. You can’t even walk in there without overhearing the employees complaining and crying about their lives and treat you like you’re ruining their day because you came into eat. At the restaurant they work at. Total BS. Doordash is not to blame for any of this especially when the bags are packed, sealed, and ready to go for the driver to pick up.
Sad to see this place ran into the ground the way it has been in the last 6 years.
First off, the new Carne Campechano Taco and Bowl? Oh. My. Goodness. Prepare your tastebuds for an explosion of deliciousness! The flavors were absolutely explosive – the kind of party in your mouth that makes you want to do a little happy dance right there at the table. Trust me, this is the kind of attention-grabbing goodness that’ll have you plotting your return trip before you even finish your last bite.
And let’s not forget the Tempura Shrimp Salad with Avocado Ranch. Fresh, vibrant, and with the perfect amount of crispy, succulent shrimp. That avocado ranch? Dreamy! It was the ideal light and refreshing counterpoint to the more intense flavors of the Campechano.
To wash it all down? A Modelo fully dressed and a Mango Frozen Margarita. The Modelo was ice-cold – exactly what you want on a sunny day. Okay, maybe the pour had a tad more head than I’d prefer, but honestly, it was so tasty I quickly forgave it. And that margarita? Pure perfection! The mango flavor was bright and bold, and the frozen texture was just right.
Of course, we started with the classic chips and salsa, and they were spot on – fresh and flavorful, the perfect warm-up act for the main event.
Seriously, if you’re looking for a place that delivers on fresh ingredients and bold flavors, get yourself to Fuzzy’s Taco Shop ASAP. That Carne Campechano is a game-changer, and the whole experience was just fantastic. Go get your fuzzy on! You won’t regret it!
The amazing lady at the register told me not to worry, she’s got me. She went straight to the kitchen and the three of them whipped up SIXTY tacos in 20 minutes!
I brought them to work, and they were a HUGE hit. Everyone loved them! Their kindness, speed, and customer service turned what could have been a disaster into a success. Thank you, Fuzzy’s!!
