Fuzzy’s is just a great place. For food I am a big fan of shrimp tacos, grilled, they are delicious and the shrimp are done just right, none of those cooked until they surrender shrimpies here.
It is a counter service restaurant, but they do a prettyamazing jobs of getting food to guests even when it is so busy I dont know how they do it. As far as atmosphere the decor starts the high energy mood, but the music and staff energy maintain it.
I thinks this is a great place to come after work. Definitely put a margaritas on the patio with tacos and chips on your to do list.
I played trivia on Monday and Wednesday, both were great fun. It is live and the host makes it a great time for everyone.

My family has enjoyed our experience each time we’ve visited. Cashiers are great. We never feel rushed like some counter order establishments. We dined with my elderly parents and the staff is patient while they make their selections. The food arrives quickly and is very flavorful. Collectively we’ve tried the tacos, burritos and bowls, enchiladas, quesadillas and chips/dips. We’ve not been disappointed in anything.

I was staying in Des Moines for a couple of days for work and decided to order Fuzzys for dinner. I had it delivered via UberEats. I ordered the tacos dorado and chips and queso. I was mind blown by the massive bag of chips and I think these are the best tacos I’ve ever had. 10/10!!

This is becoming my new favorite place for weekend brunch. I find that their seasoned ground beef, in one form or another, and their reasonably priced draft beers really hit the spot. Staff and management are friendly and attentive, and the tvs have all the sprots.

We love going to Fuzzy’s but I recently placed a catering order for an office lunch and it was great. Part of our order was vegetarian and Jill reached out to let us know the sides I ordered were not vegetarian to see if we wanted to replace it with something else; She was so nice and accommodating for our group. I ate here for the first time with my coworkers for lunch after volunteering. The food was okay and a little messy to my liking. The portion sizes were large and seemed reasonably priced. The food wasn’t too long of a wait. I wouldn’t go out of my way to eat here on my own.

When you want regular tacos get the OG tacos. If you want fancy stuff they have that. If you want chips and cheese they have that. Friendly and fast. The atmosphere is really nice, lively and bright inside. Odd to say but really like the decorations. Gives that South America and “eating on a beach” feel. Maybe it’s the fish on the walls? The colors? It’s all of it : )
