I couldn’t wait to go back to Fuzzys from the last time ive come to Sarasota! It was perfection last time…this time we had some snafus …The girl at the front took our order ….She was cold & acted like she basically hated us….we ordered Mango Margs with extra shot of tequila….Tahine is on the marg menu but she said Theres no tahine…okay…….weird… So we ordered chips trio and that was excellent…We ordered two different fish tacos…the Baja and a taco plate w/ beer battered cod &rice & beans…all delicious! We had ordered the Birria tacos & that never made it on our bill so we had to go back up in the middle of our meal after not seeing the birria on our check and ordered them again…The girl took care of all the customers in line & when it was our turn she left us standing there went behind bar and started pouring drinks and serving them to other customers ( bar wasnt busy & had a bartender!) She never once came over to our table & we had to go up to the bar to get our drinks…I dont understand why she served others and not us! We paid in cash and had given her a 24% tip! So I don’t get it….We went to the kitchen area to get our forgotten Birria and the cooks were so nice….I asked for takeout containers and I tipped those guys in the kitchen because they were the only people to smile & act nice to us….We always order tons of food because hey I’m a chef & want to try everything! I spent over $100 for 2 and the food didn’t disappoint….ill bring my own tahine next time…please clean your sauce bottles ours were clogged with dried sauce so I took sauce from another table because the hot sauce didnt come out… I took girls name out in case she was having a bad day or thought we were someone else….please don’t single people out we are nice people!

Hearty bowl and tasy burrito. Tasted great. Only glitch was that several tables had not been wiped down, so it was harder to find a seat than it should have been. Counter service was efficient, but didn’t seem to notice the messy tables when anne delivered my beer.

Fuzzy’s is under new ownership and the place is looking fabulous. Everyone on staff is friendly. It was clean and inviting. I ordered steak and fried shrimp tacos. Delicious. Chips were thin, crispy, and fresh. Definitely recommend!

Such great tacos. So good. The brisket tacos are my favorite. Tuesdays is what’s happening for the deals on tacos, as you might already know with most places serving tacos. They’re actually really good though. The owner is a cool guy and staff is very respectful and friendly. Try them out on University pkwy. I stop by sometimes after work at Starbucks if I did a closing or night shift.

Excellent food, wonderful service, and great outdoor seating. Dog friendly, well at least you can sit out side with your pup. Hostess brought a bowl of water out for him too!!

Food wasn’t the best. I got a birria bowl and the meat was sweet, the chip trio didn’t taste fresh & the queso was very watery with no flavor.

I don’t have a problem ordering my food at a register but they shouldn’t ask for a tip. After ordering you have to pick up your own food, get your own utensils and bus your own table. Food was good but the concept didn’t mesh.
