We finally tried Fusion in West Warwick and this place is straight fire — no exaggeration. If you love BIG flavors, spice, and Caribbean flair, this spot is a must.

I ordered the oxtail and my wife got the jerk chicken.

Jerk Chicken:
Charred perfectly, fruity, spicy — exactly how jerk should be. Hands-down the best jerk chicken I’ve had anywhere in Rhode Island.

Oxtail:
Super tender with a deep, rich gravy and just the right spice. The veggies were cooked al dente and tasted fresh, not mushy.

At first, I thought the rice and beans were a little mild, but once I mixed them with the oxtail gravy it clicked — they turned into the perfect vessel to carry all that flavor without being overwhelming.

Coleslaw:
Light, acidic, refreshing. It’s the kind of slaw you actually want alongside a rich dish — it cuts through the savory and spice perfectly.

Drinks:
Bold, flavorful, and matched the food energy.

Pork Belly Lollipops:
These things deserve their own shoutout. Hot, crispy, not overly fatty, with a Thai chili-style glaze that slapped in the best way. They were literally perfect — I downed them in seconds.

If you like spicy food packed with flavor, Fusion needs to be on your list. We’ll absolutely be back.

Pretty good Caribbean food, oxtail was tending full of flavors. Their chicharon was crispy but lacking flavor. Their ceviche was not bad at all.

We dined in on Friday for the first time, and had such a great experience. The food was all amazing, so was the service. We got the jerk chicken nachos as an appetizer and I kid you not we’ve been craving them since… which brings us to today. We ordered them for takeout, not expecting them to be as good/comparable (obviously takeout can be a hit or miss) but WOW. They were just as good, if not better and it they were HUGE!!!! I already can’t wait to go back.

4/5 stars because the food was super tasty and delicious, no complaints there at all. It just sucks that I paid $27 ($35 to door dash) for the Chuleta which is described as a thick cut pork chop. As shown in the photo, this pork chop was 1/2 inch thick. 90% of the dish was rice and veg, and at that price. Honestly, just don’t call it thick cut. Remove that tidbit from the menu, it’s misleading.

I don’t know if I came at a bad time, the reviews seemed good but the experience did not match, I love to support local places especially interesting concepts.

$15 for Yukon fries and my order contained 5 fries…that is just offensive for the price, the entire order feels like it was rushed even though the place wasn’t busy. The fries tasted as if they sat under a heat lamp. Just dry and tasteless.

The Cubano had flavor where food was present but the entire sandwich was so thin with hardly any meat I understand grill marks on bread but this was clearly BURNT, just making the overall sandwich poor in quality and taste

The entire order came to around $28 and for what I received I couldn’t recommend.everything was just so lazily prepared…

To much money for food that is hardly edible.

We stopped in for my wife’s birthday and sat at the bar. We shared the loaded chicarons and my wife had chicken tacos while I had marinated steak tips with rice. The sauce was delicious. I made sure mix my rice into the sauce. Definitely will come back.

Came here for dinner with my girlfriends and had the jerk salmon and grilled octopus, let me tell you… to DIE!! I came back the next day alone just because I wanted to get the seafood casserole, it did not disappoint! Absolutely delicious food, classy and professional and friendly staff, the owner himself introduced himself to me and wanted to hear my feedback you can tell this place is quality! So happy to have this place close to home! Sitting outside while eating is a plus on the their patio! Thank you Fusion!

Didn’t take pictures of my food but everything was great! We tried the empanadas (chicken was better than beef), fried yuka, side of plain tostones, and the chuleta entree. The chimichurri on it was amazing, potatoes were done well. For dessert we ordered the churros and it was delicious! Definitely shareable. I had the watermelon mule- delicious and not too sweet. We’re excited to return and try more things.

My friend and I decided to try this new spot in her area that recently opened up. We both totally loved it. The staff, food, music and place itself was great. I had the Oxtail which I would totally recommend, and the churros were hot and tasty. Best of luck to everyone there, hope to be back soon..
