This is our new hidden “gem” for Thai. Had the chicken pad see EW & crab rangoon. Both were exceptional with ample portions for the price. I went with mild, because I’m on the wimpy side, but my son was thrilled with the extra spice he ordered on his meal. He also raved about the Jamaican spicy beef patty. Lots to choose from on the menu. Sue, the lady behind the counter, was very helpful & patiently answered all our questions. Can’t wait to go back!

Great small business restaurant! I had the oxtails and they were very tasty. Very kind and friendly owner. She brought me out a piece of jerk chicken just for me to try 🙂

Liked it so much I decided to stay and have a dessert of more fried plantains.

We went there out of curiosity. The idea of fusing Thai and Jamaican food appealed to us. We shared our meal to gain a broader experience. Even after sharing our meals, there were leftovers. Six hours later, I’m still full. The portions are good.

I said I found the best oxtail in Georgia in Augusta, but I was wrong. That’s No. 2. The very best oxtail in Georgia is served right here. Let me explain why. When it comes to seasoning, Thai people generally do not go light on it. They take great pride in serving their customers the best. At least the smaller restaurants I’ve been to, like this one. The oxtail has the flavor of sweet habanero pepper, a distinct flavor that Caribbean oxtails have when not skimping on sweet habanero peppers or when they’re available. The problem is that they’re very hard to come by. I can’t even find them. I felt it was tacky to ask them, so I’ll play detective to find the nearest farmers’ market I can assume they shop at.

The black beans aren’t canned black beans. They’re the real thing, soak and cook. The sweet plantain is sweet plantain. You can’t mess that up. And the cabbage and the spring rolls were typical of the area. What was different was the sauce for the spring rolls. Delicious. The canned coconut water was good, but it had a distinct flavor. I want to say a slight taste of brown coconut sugar, but the can doesn’t list it as an ingredient. It had the pulp in it. It does list sulfites. However, it was refreshing.

The pineapple fried rice was good, but different from what I had in Ringgold. This one had fewer vegetables but was tasty, with raisins added to the rice and cashew nuts on top. I was very pleased that it came with bean sprouts.

Got the pad Thai (not pictured) with tofu which was very tasty and not too spicy (got medium). The jerk chicken with rice and Mac and cheese was very tasty. Service was very quick and pleasant

What an amazing and tasty new place! Went here on a whim, and the food is amazing. You can even request a vegetarian version of some dishes. And the service is friendly, entertaining and accommodating. The fried banana was especially good, it looked so delicious that I forgot to take a picture first! New favorite place in town! I like the decorations and ambience, and the ingredients seem like they are selected with care.

I wanted to give this place 5 stars because, honestly, it deserves it. However, I do need to be honest about my experience.

Let’s start with the atmosphere: it was clean, organized, decorated well, and smelled good. It didn’t smell like old mop water or stale like some other restaurants I’ve visited in the past.

The service: the service was great! The lady was very kind, receptive, and considerate. I ordered fried banana with no cream(because I don’t eat traditional ice cream), and she gave me a few extra pieces of friend banana because I didn’t have the ice cream. That was an unexpected and courteous gesture.

Price point: I think the price point was consistent with the industry standard. We spent about $59 for 2 plates and a dessert.

The food: the taste of the food was good, very flavorful. The only thing was that as I was eating the food, there was a salty taste in the meat gravy but not so much salt where it was disgusting. It was a good salt taste, which was surprising. The peas and rice had a good coconut flavor, the meat gravy had a good flavor(but salty), the cabbage was cooked down soft, the plantains were amazing! The fried banana with honey was amazing!!

Unfortunately, I didn’t get pictures of each meal ‍♀️

Overall, it was a good experience. I will definitely be back to try other Jamaican and Thai dishes.

I have repeatedly requested this restaurant (Fusion Kitchen Thai & Jamaican Cuisine) fix their packaging. I spent 10 minutes cleaning up a mess due to the Styrofoam plate being crushed from the side all the way underneath the container. Even when Saran Wrap was used, it was not wrapped around the entire container. Something needs to be done because this is unsatisfactory. The portion sizes are shrinking as well.

Hard rice and raw chicken. Food arrived cold, and my Dasher had to wait. I’m about out of chances and excuses for the food. I really want to like this place.

This place is great. Heard from a friend we should try it and we were not disappointed.

We ordered the pork gyoza appetizer and shared the Chicken Massaman and Chicken Pad Kee Mao. We went for medium spice for my hubby which was really good but next time I may try hot.

Both dishes were really good and we would definitely have again. However we are looking forward to trying other items on the menu as well.

The staff and owners are very kind and friendly.

Looking forward to sharing with friends.

I ordered Oxtail,Beef Patty, spring rolls and my wife had the Jerk Chicken. The appetizers were great and came out quick. The main dishes were the best of they’re kind. The Oxtail was rich and full of flavor. The Jerk Chicken had just enough spice with robust flavor still intact. I STRONGLY recommend this place!!!!!! Will be back again to see Corn and his amazing Wife
