From start to finish, my experience at Fusion Flare Kitchen & Cocktails was top-tier! First of all, my waffle was HOT upon delivery—something I’ve never experienced before, and I’ve had my fair share of takeout. The wings were piping hot**, flavorful, and cooked to perfection.

I had the lavender lemon drop with 1800, and wow—smooth, refreshing, and just the right kick. On top of all that, the service was impeccable. If I were the manager, I’d be proud to hear my staff encouraged a guest to return—because they made sure I felt welcomed, appreciated, and seen.

As someone visiting from #HTX, I will absolutely be back the next time I’m in Detroit. You’ve earned a fan!

I thoroughly enjoyed the food and atmosphere here. I had prompt service, bar tender and wait staff were kind. The wait for hot and fresh food was reasonable and worth it. Played good r&b. I would come back. I had the happy hour wings and jalapeño poppers- both good. The menu said 4 wings but I only received 3, not a huge deal considering I had more food coming. I also tried the catfish, Mac n cheese, collars, and yams. All very good.

I came here for a date night and it was amazing. I ordered the fried catfish, yams and asparagus with a side car and my boo ordered glazed salmon, Mac and asparagus. Everything was perfect. Customer service was top notch as always. I LOVE this spot so much. And my boo didn’t like the spring beans and they switch it out for free with asparagus. Very much appreciated!!! 10/10

What an incredible gem! Every single bite was perfect. From the generous wedge salad to the beautifully seasoned New Orleans style shrimp, the best mac & cheese I’ve tasted, tremendous greens, and the stunning banana pudding, all of it was simply fantastic. Service was so friendly and warm. They have an extensive drink list and offer happy hour specials from 4-6pm on weekdays. This place is special.

✨Google Guide Review ✨ This was my first time dining in and I was pleasantly surprised. I ordered the Salmon w/ Cajun Glaze, Mac & Cheese, Greens, and Corn Bread as well as drinks. The Salmon was moist and well seasoned and Greens were delicious. The Mac and Cheese and really great flavor and paired really well with the Salmon and Greens. The Corn Bread was on the dry side but was delicious with the Salmon. Overall, my dining experience was great. No complaints.

My favorite spot on the west side of Detroit. I found this spot randomly on my way home from work. I was going to the starters for lamb chops but it was way too packed for a weekday. So I stopped here, the food was phenomenal. The lamb chops were great. It was happy hour so everything was priced right. I really like their Mac and cheese as well. It’s an old school vibe but that right up my alley. I’m talking about Going in Circles by Friends of Distinction.. Definitely my hidden gem.

Not bad at all for a first time! we were visiting Detroit for the first time from Little Rock, Arkansas and we heard a lot about Detroit before going and I’m going to say get out and experience things for yourself and get your own review because the service , atmosphere and quality of the food at this establishment truly was amazing!

My partner and I were looking for a good southern food place while visiting and came across this place. Service was great and the food was even better! Mr. Jones (owner) came by to give us a warm welcome. Will def be back 🙂

Ordered catfish dinner with greens and mac and shrimp scampi dinner with mac n yams.
Fish cooked perfectly; yams were good- not over sweetened; greens were over seasoned–too salty, but overall had potential to be delish without the extra salt; mac n cheese was hands down one of my top 3 mac n cheese. There were some non traditional cheese in there and boy it did it for me!!! The cornbread was a bit dry, but My mom only makes the best. Everyone else’s food appeared tasty and great happy hour prices! Additionally, please keep banana pudding readily avail, especially if its your most popular dessert . First time there, no B. Pudding by 330pm?? The bathroom definitely needs to be revamped, recalibrated–something. Im not sure a plus size female would be able to get into the stall and im 150lbs and had to strategize to get in there–lol Invest in ridding of the current build and replace with one nice stall with a nice sink for the ladies ( maybe the men too). The bathroom goes a long way. Anyway, I would and will return!
