We had a delicious meal at Fuqua’s yesterday. They were packed and extremely busy and rightfully so. The food is out of this world delicious. (Probably the best fried chicken and Mac and cheese I’ve ever had) Considering how new they are, the crowd they had, and the portions people we’re serving themselves the second they added food to the buffet, it’s not surprising they were having trouble keeping it stocked and eventually turning customers away at the door. We will be back again VERY soon and are looking forward to enjoying another delicious meal.

Not much variety and over cooked meat when they were not out of meat. Stayed out of mash potatoes. No paper towels in bathroom but the servers were nice.

Took our small crew here for dinner last night and we all loved it! The staff was friendly, the food was delicious, we will all be coming here more often! We are so glad to have a Southern soul food restaurant in Hartselle!

Very first time here the Food was so so basically being a soul food restaurant period I expected much better flavor for the food just being honest and I completely understand the business owners are new to Hartselle area but if you are going to run a business you should be prepared for just about anything and I don’t think they are at this point I really do hope they get everything together our waitress was wonderful considering we had a church party of around 15 people!

All the negative reviews are not anything to take to heart. If you go to a new restaurant when they first open there’s always kinks that have to be worked out Food was awesome and fresh best fried chicken. Y’all keep doing what you’re doing the negative thing will work themselves out.

The buffet was almost empty when we got there. We were told they were in the process of replenishing it. The salad bar was not all that great either. My husband brought up the fact that there wasn’t food on the buffet and the waitress didn’t seem to care. The dessert table was empty also.

My family ate there tuesday night the 22nd. Seemed like all the food on the buffet was out of a can, not homemade. Had to keep the flies swatted off our food. 4 adults and 1 child the bill was $88. We won’t be going back !!!
