Funky Cow Café in Hammonton is such a hidden gem! The vibe is fun, cozy, and a little quirky—with chalkboard walls covered in doodles and notes, shelves of books, and playful cow and ghost décor. It has such a welcoming, creative atmosphere that makes you want to hang out for a while.
The food is just as awesome as the space! I had their chicken salad blt sandwich which was stuffed and perfectly toasted—fresh ingredients with a great crunch. We also tried the lettuce wraps topped with colorful slaw and crispy noodles, which were super fresh and flavorful. Everything tasted homemade and thoughtfully put together.
What really stood out was how dog-friendly the café is. Our pup was welcomed with smiles and got plenty of love from the staff. It made the whole experience feel even warmer and more personal.
If you’re in Hammonton, definitely stop in for something delicious and different. Great food, funky atmosphere, and friendly vibes—can’t wait to go back!

What can I say? I walked in the door and was engaged by a very friendly young lady who went over the menu with me. I told her I was meeting my aunt for lunch and was waiting for her to arrive before I ordered. As I waited a perfectly coiffed, energetic gentleman with probably the most perfect smile I have ever seen burst into the dining area making a beeline straight for me directing all of his awesomeness at ME! I felt like the most special person on earth! Ricky then took time to explain his menu ideas to me telling me that I would love everything.
He was right! I ordered the cuban because in reading reviews it was the most popular it seemed. That pork was cooked perfectly and perfectly seasoned!
Do yourself a favor, get there yesterday!! Dont sleep on this place! The savory waffle sandwich is a hidden little secret everyone needs to try! I can not wait to go back!

Wow! the food was delicious, this place is clean and so welcoming. I had a coffee, chicken salad BLT, and ice cream. I wish i lived closer but this is a place I will travel too. The staff was friendly and the owner Ricky was so nice! If you get a chance this place is a must

First off Ricky is the best!! The food is outstanding! My favorite sandwich is Lola’s Cuban, but today I decided to try the corned beef reuben and I was not disappointed! The waffle is such a nice touch; it is perfectly crunchy. Highly recommend. 100/10

Passed by this spot and had to stop and try!! Hands down the BEST spot I’ve been to in quite awhile! The atmosphere as well as how friendly and helpful Richard was! Is going to be the reason we definitely will be returning to this spot again! I wish I took a picture of my food but it looked so good I tore right into it and left no crumbs lol my 11 month old son enjoyed it as well I got the bangin brisket. My boyfriend got Lola’s Cuban and can I just say WOW!! Please please please come stop by and try this spot out!

So delicious and unique! The Cuban sandwich was DELICIOUS and I’ve never had a Cuban on a waffle – so unique and well seasoned too! The Funkin Chicken was also super yummy – like a BLT on a waffle. They also gave a lot of meat. The ambiance was also so nice – great music and atmosphere with comfortable seating. Staff was very friendly and kind! We will definitely come back next time we’re in the area!

I’m responding to the review below about the vegan menu items. My fiance and I wanted to go to Hammonton to get lunch. So I looked up “vegan food in Hammonton” and your restaurant came up as having vegan food. When we were ordering, I asked if the “veggie lovers” sandwich was vegan and the cashier/ waitress said no because the cabbage slaw isn’t vegan. So I was confused because the “udderly vegan” menu option has the cabbage slaw in it. So I mentioned this to her and she said “the udderly vegan isn’t vegan, I don’t know why they say it is” lol. So I ended up
ordering the “Farmer’s salad” without the blue cheese and opting for the “vegan gluten free waffle” instead of the regular waffle. Right after ordering, we sat down and I went to use your restroom. While I was in the restroom, that same employee went up to my fiance and told him the “vegan gluten free waffle” is also not vegan. So we ended up also removing the waffle from the salad. So that means that both the waffle and the cabbage slaw in your vegan menu item are not vegan, which means the item isn’t vegan at all. this was all info from your employee and the kitchen because I heard her communicate with them in spanish (I am spanish so I could understand their entire conversation). Anyway, this isn’t to bash you guys honestly your restaurant is cute, nice and the employees were friendly. I am just spreading awareness because I don’t want another vegan mistakenly coming here solely based on the fact that your menu offers vegan options, when they really aren’t vegan.

This was my first time visiting and everything was delicious. I tried the LTO Mexican Barria and my mom ordered their chicken salad BLT. Mine was flavorful and surprisingly did not get soggy by the time I got home. I would have personally enjoyed some diced onion or an extra crunch on mine but I’m sure that could be requested. The side of consume was perfect for dipping as well. My mom and grandmother both enjoyed the chicken salad, they tore it up! I also ordered a side of their spicy slaw and Mac n cheese. The slaw was the perfect amount of spicy and had good flavor. The Mac n cheese was creamy but definitely needs something more. My suggestion, a sharper cheese to give it more of a punch. Customer service was friendly and the atmosphere was super cute! I will definitely go back!
