From movie night & poker to karaoke & live music, this place has something going on most every night. The atmosphere, & people are incredible, & for those looking for it…this is your “third place.” Best tavern in Ogden.
The food is always fantastic, service is always great, and there’s always something interesting happening.
They normally have the same menu options as upstairs. There’s a great vegan/vegetarian option, too.
Monday is normally movie night. A more laid-back vibe to accommodate the movie.
Poker night is on Tuesdays, normally with over 30 players fighting for poker supremacy. (No cash value, just betting units, you can still sometimes score bar swag, and other cool prizes.)
Thursday & Sunday are normally karaoke nights. The DJ creates a fantastic atmosphere.
Friday & Saturday normally have a live band.
There’s a solid selection of beers, spirits, & great food. Excellent place with fantastic people working there.
Parking is what it is in Ogden. Get there early.

Killer little dive bar. Lots of fun , good atmosphere, great music. Saw a band called The Felony Brothers, solid set!!

The guy Bartender didn’t seem to be very friendly or good at his job as he only seemed to be able to process one thing at a time, but other than that, this place is great!

My favorite day of the week is coming to Tuesday night poker at Funk n Dive. It is a great group of people and a lot of fun! Always familiar faces showing up and a very good game of poker. Elly is always the bartender on Tuesdays, she is great, amazing hospitality, super kind and easy to chat with. Highly recommend joining every Tuesday at 7. Also Wednesday night trivia is fun as well.

This is a great dive bar and a cool place to hear local talent play their tunes. The waitstaff are friendly and attentive and the food is delicious (I seriously cannot recommend their tatchos enough, though everything that comes out of their fryer seems to be blessed by the gods of bar food).

Funk n Dive is the place to be on a Wednesday night. Big fan of the trivia, the bartenders that know your name and keep the Pacifico coming, and the shot ski of Porter’s Fire after a win (highly recommended). Special shout out to Elly, bartender and shot ski filmer extraordinare. Ogden is lucky to have a place like this.

Amazing bar and great venue for live music. Staff is friendly, attentive, helpful and keep up even when the the bar is busy. The building is quite beatiful as it’s a historic building. They’ve done a great job creating a charming yet relaxing atmosphere. Best bar in Ogden!!

Super cool place. We had the pretzel and then the Margherita pizza, both were amazing. Later still felt pekish and got the fried pickles, also delicious. Red was our server, she was cool and friendly. Definitely recommend. People watching is fun too.

I’ve been going here for years, but it’s getting worse unfortunately. I used to like the downstairs for its quiet atmosphere, but it often opens really late. Seems like they only have one server when I’m there, so you end up waiting forever for some fairly mid bar food. They cranked the prices up recently, and unfortunately with everything else that’s gonna be the last straw.
