Amazing service! My entire family, including three children loved the staff here who were gracious, kind and courteous. My 9 year old even loved the staff. Tony was the most genuinely nice guy I’ve met in service industry. He has a big heart for the people he serves and the food that he makes The food was great. Great BBQ flavor with the right amount of wonderful wood smoke without being overpowering. The sauce sweet but hinting at spiciness. The Big Baker was huge and felt like a blessing on a cold day. Kids had chicken fingers and pulled pork all exceptional. Must try Macaroni too. highly recommend this place!

I ordered Half Rack Ribs, loaded baked potato and baked beans on a drive thru. Excited and hungry, instead of the ribs im expecting, i got a pulled pork and i dont know what else is in it. I guess somebody is happy eating the ribs!!!

I don’t know why I keep giving this place chances.
The $12-$13 6-smoked wings were small extremely dry and sauce was left out which did not help the experience.
I got nachos with everything but the meat and cheese on the side, which they did everything on the side which I truly don’t mind but then proceeded to serve these ridiculously burned inedible chips which I had to toss. Luckily I had a bag of tortilla chips in the cabinet.
The potato was good but not worth the cost of the other negatives.
For $40 for a baked potato, 6 wings and some cups of nacho toppings I will NOT be returning.
I should have known better after the “pound of pulled chicken” we got last time that weighed less than 10oz the last visit 6 months ago should have been where I drew the line.

Ohhhhh let me tell you!!! Whenever I travel, I always try to eat something regional that’s unique to the area. The one consistent thing I heard was that I had to try Alabama white sauce from Full Moon. I arrived four hours before I was to board my flight back to NYC and was greeted by Paul. He was warm, friendly, and kind. I informed him that it was my first time in Birmingham, and I was told that I must come to Full Moon for white sauce. He smiled and said, “Well then we must treat you with southern hospitality! And that’s exactly what he did! He showed great patience, made great suggestions, and even let us try a couple of great samples! The food was good and the white sauce was a whole new experience. Paul almost got me wanting to move to Alabama lol! He definitely gave me something to remember. Thank you, Paul, and thank you Full Moon!!!

We usually come to this location as it’s the one closest to our home. I went through the drive thru today, this is the second time we order a half a chicken plate all dark meat and literally got a breast and a wing, this is definitely not half a chicken nor was it dark meat at all, we doubt we will be coming back to this location.

We visited here from the UK for a sports event. Place smelt great as we drove past so we stopped and I’m glad we did! Ordered the whole rack of ribs which was huuuuge and so juicy, the others were wimps and had the baby back ribs but again were delicious. They have their own sauces inside which again were so good

We lost our daughter at 36 to breast cancer. We needed to have our celebration of life catered. We went to the Hoover location for catering services.Tony was extremely caring and helpful. He suggested items we would need for about 50 people. Everything was exactly as he promised. The food arrived on time as was packed very nicely and we had everything we needed. The food was awesome and everyone left the reception happy and full. Thanks again Tony and we will recommend to everyone.

I always enjoy stopping by the Full Moon BBQ in Hoover. The food is consistently good, but what really stands out is the customer service. The staff is friendly every single visit, and the manager does an excellent job of setting that tone. It’s clear that consistency and care matter here, and that makes a difference.

We have passed by for a awhile now and never stopped. We love the Birmingham location and assumed it would be just as good. We finally tried it and it was awful! I am not sure how the rib tips and rips we got had ZERO bbq flavor at all. It was like they had been baked in an oven with very little flavor! It was also not the same portion size as the Birmingham location, there was so much less and a lot of my tips were burned and inedible. Even the fries were half the portion and although hot, they did not have a drop of salt or flavor. The ribs were a little more tender but even some of those were over done on the end. We had to put them in our insta pot to soften them. I don’t leave many reviews but seriously this location was so disappointing.
