Stopped for lunch midweek. I ordered the salad with Turkey on top. The meat and salad were all so fresh and delicious. They make homemade ranch, for you other ranch connoisseur’s.
The food came out within a couple minutes or ordering!
The meal was worth the price and was rather filling and quite satisfying.

This was the best riblet platter I ever had at Full Moon . Sweet smokey flavor, tenderness off the chart. Thanks to the food gods for the hardest working employees in Birmingham, whom service was supreme. Great Que!!

A family member recommended this place. OriginalI got excited and Google’d the location. When multiple locations returned within miles of me I was reluctant to go. Then I passed one and saw smoke coming out from an exhaust on the roof. Okay maybe just one stop?
The menu is deep with options. The pricing is fair for the quality. The staff was warm welcoming and helped us to navigate our menu options. The manager was in the floor engaging with customers. Not in a “how was your meal today?” way, but in genuine conversation with several tables.
The food was delivered in around a ten minute span. This is great for hot food at a BBQ joint. Everything tasted wonderful. I ordered rib tips. They were a bit fatty but the meat was plentiful too, they were outright huge. The sauce was a decent BBQ sauce, not overpowering, but it didn’t taste mass produced like the sauce at many other BBQ chains. We didn’t opt for sides. We had the French fries included and they were steak fry style and cooked to near perfection. My wife purchased the 3 bone rib sandwich. It’s pictured below. Those are not mini slices of bread, those are three enormous bones!
Overall this was a great experience and I would go again and recommend it to others who don’t feel like cooking their own that day, because in the end most of us feel that the best always comes from our own sweat and grill.

Went there after the lunch rush, got in the drive thru line, there was only one car ahead of me, apparently the cashier knew the people. Sat in line approximately 15-19 Minutes during this time I witnessed the cashier show the person ahead of me some program- this was not the time to be doing that, people have to go back to jobs. I had enough of the time wasting and pulled out of line and went inside. As I was walking in, the cashier had a frown on her face, I’m guessing the crew members had talked about me pulling out of line. I got my food didn’t have time to look at in the restaurant bc I needed to get back to work . Once I opened my container, it was a pitiful meal, no sauce or pickles on my sandwich and my fried green tomatoes looked like crap. I will never come to the Homewood Location ever again!!!!

We went to get a veggie plate and a bbq sandwich yesterday. The guy was rude to me for not knowing there wasn’t a meal that goes with the sandwich but we asked for fries and a coke anyway. Unfortunately, they didn’t give us the fries or the coke so we had to go back to get it just to have them treat US like we were lying. The macaroni and cheese was horrible. The noodles were completely unformed so much that it was just mush. The sandwich barely had any sauce or flavor. $30 right down the drain.

Visited the Homewood location and wasn’t greeted at the drive thru window. Instead I sat ten minutes with the cashier just watching me from the other side while she laughed and entertained her coworkers. Not only did she have a nasty attitude, her braids matched her attitude (nasty). My food was cold.i had the to go meal with classic ribs. Cold. And they were overwhelmingly seasoned with oregano. My fried green tomatoes looked and tasted like crap. For $63.47 i should have at leas gotten great food or service for that price. But as a paying customer I shouldn’t have to choose. Horrible .she didn’t even give me napkins or utensils. Just attitude. Businesses hire anybody nowadays. NEVER AGAIN. They really should take pride when hiring staff that has to deal with the public. JUST SAD.

I can’t eat the sauce because I’m allergic to it. I eat their ribs because they are good with or without sauce. They have a great taste. After having Covid-19 that was the only thing I could eat that tasted good to me, and until this day they still taste good to me.

The food here is okay. The service the last two times I have been here has been very slow. I ordered a grilled cheese sandwich and French fries and it took about ten minutes to get my order. The restaurant was not busy either, so I am not sure why it took so long. The prices are reasonable for the amount of food you get. They have a vegetable of the day that you should consider. I like the squash casserole and they have it on Wednesday and Sunday.

I love full moon but i get scared to try a new one because I’ve been to a couple that just did not taste right at all, but i recently moved to homewood and decided to give this location a try. I’m so glad I did it might even be my favorite location now. They actually get my order right every time and it tastes so good!
Edit This location has my heart, especially the lunch shift. Super sweet ladies in the front that just about know my exact order when i come in ( i go a lot since i work a lot) and the chicken is some of the best I’ve ever had at any full moon and I’ve tried quite a few. Keep up the good work
