I enjoyed the Kani salad it tasted fresh and the crabmeat wonton was not too rich. Lastly, I ordered the Shrimp Tempura roll and Shrimp Shumai.
Everything was tasty and for the beverages I purchased the green tea which was refreshing and a 16.9 oz bottle of water. I suggest to check them out. My total was $42.95 and tip was $10 so I spent 52.95
️ Food Quality & Taste
The food here is nice and fresh, and you can absolutely taste it. Everything felt thoughtfully prepared, clean, and satisfying without being heavy. It’s the kind of meal that leaves you full but still happy you stopped in.
Value for the Price
Prices are very reasonable, especially for the quality you’re getting. It feels like a solid win—good food without feeling like you overpaid.
Cleanliness
The restaurant is clean and well-kept, which always makes the experience better. Nothing distracted from the meal, and that’s exactly how it should be.
Customer Service
Top tier. Friendly, attentive, and welcoming without being overbearing. You feel taken care of from the moment you walk in.
⏱️ Wait Time & Convenience
Huge plus here—I was able to walk right in and get a table. Perfect for a quick stop while running errands on City Ave without needing to plan ahead.
Presentation & Atmosphere
The space is intimate and not very big, which actually works in its favor. It’s cozy, calm, and a great spot to sit down, reset, and enjoy a good meal without the chaos of a larger restaurant.
⚠️ Red Flags or Warnings
None to note. Just keep in mind it’s a smaller space, so it’s more of a cozy dine-in experience than a big group hangout.
Overall:
Fuki Ramen and Sushi is a great little neighborhood spot—fresh food, fair prices, excellent service, and a comfortable atmosphere. Definitely a solid choice when you want quality without the fuss.
The food was overall yummy and reasonably priced. The sushi we got was fresh and good in proportion. The Fuki ramen I got was tasty but the broth was slightly below others I had had at other places. The mini key lime pie was also good but it came a bit too frozen; better to eat it after a few minutes. For all of these small negative points, I took out one star for the food.
The service and ambiance were great otherwise!
So, overall, pretty happy (especially compared to other Japanese restaurant in the neighborhood) and we’ll definitely come back!
Food A++
Soon as walked in the door, I was greeted with the best hospitality!
Very nice staff!!
It’s the FOOD that set me over the TOP!!!!
AWESOME is an understatement statement! This place needs to be packed! Spicy Miso Ramen! Chefs kiss!!!
I found my new Ramen home!
Chicken Teriyaki A++
Sushi A++
You will not be let down!
The kara age was very nice, and the crisp was near perfect. The ramen was okay, it was definitely better than most ramen places in Philadelphia.
For a restaurant serving raw fish, freshness should be the number one priority. Unfortunately, this place did not meet that basic standard. I won’t be coming back.
