Ordered at 11:30, and had my beverage by 11:40, and my food by 11:55. The food and beverages are handcrafted so the wait was understandable. The cafe has a wonderful atmosphere, with plenty of seating! Since it was the grand opening, the cafe filled up very quickly. Once the fever calms down, it will be a wonderful spot to sit, relax, and enjoy the calming atmosphere.
I ordered the Hojicha Latte, which tasted like chocolate milk with a black tea aftertaste! Very delicious. I ate the Berries Pancakes, which were very fluffy and sweet, but the tartness of the fruit blended together very well. For dessert, I enjoyed the Chocolate Sando. It is essentially chocolate mousse inside bread, and very dense, but as a chocolate lover I enjoyed it!
Overall I am impressed with the cleanliness, the kindness of the staff, and the beautiful decorations and vibe of the store. Please be patient with wait time as they get started, but their app does give an accurate estimate as well as rewards.
Fukado Japanese Cafe truly exceeded all my expectations! The drinks were incredibly delicious — perfectly balanced, refreshing, and beautifully presented. You can really taste the quality in every sip.
The desserts were hands down the best I’ve ever had. Every bite was rich, flavorful, and not overly sweet — just the perfect balance. The presentation was also stunning, almost too pretty to eat!
The service was excellent — friendly, attentive, and impressively quick. The staff made us feel welcome from the moment we walked in, and everything arrived promptly without feeling rushed.
The atmosphere was cozy, clean, and relaxing — a perfect spot to catch up with friends or enjoy a quiet treat for yourself.
I’ll definitely be coming back and highly recommend this place to anyone looking for authentic, high-quality Japanese drinks and desserts.
I went for the grand opening and it was PACKED. I would not go on a weekend or during lunch until things calm down it took ONE HOUR to get 3 items.
I think they did a good job considering how packed it was. I don’t think anything they have was really special for me to travel out of my way to come back though.
Berry drink with the cheese foam. The cheese is sweet and the drink was good.
I had the orange iced tea and it does have an aftertaste of orange which I liked.
I had the fried corn croquet and takoyaki. They were both good, but nothing special.
My husband had the strawberry sando, which would be hard to mess up honestly and he really enjoyed it.
I think I like the drinks over the food overall.
I would go back if I was in the area, but I rarely go to that city.
Waited for about one hour from when we entered till we got our food. Things we wanted to try, like donkatsu sando was already sold out even though we arrived at 12:15pm.
Egg sando was dry and not flavorful, the beef riceball was falling apart/hard to eat but was tasty. The cream sando didn’t have much cream.
I’m impressed though they kept up with the on-coming customers.
We have not had drinks this good since we were in Taiwan and Japan many years ago. Not only their drinks but the other items have fresh ingredients and definitely underpriced in my opinion.
