I’ve been a customer here for the past 5 years, and each visit has been well. Sometimes the restaurant gets busy and there can be a wait, but that’s expected for a popular place. They offer a wide variety of fresh sushi along with an all you can eat buffet option. There’s also a vegetarian section, plus soup, salad, and hibachi choices so there’s something for everyone. The food came out promptly and tasted good. Ronald, our waiter, was friendly and provided good service.

We come here almost every Friday with a group of 10-20 people. The wait for tables is manageable, but the speed of service is excruciatingly slow. Some people get their THIRD servings of food before I even get my first serving. I love the food here, but the service is a mood killer. I come here with friends and ALWAYS one of us don’t get our food. I am currently writing a review in the restaurant, and am absolutely fed up with this. It used to be our number one spot, but NO MORE. Everyone else in this comment section can agree that it is the slowest service ever.

I don’t know why they have such a low score. This place is excellent, once you go here you’ll wonder why you go anywhere else. It’s only 20.99 for all you can eat sushi plus other things. Even cheaper at lunch for the same things. It cost you that much for 2 or even one roll anywhere else. Everything is made to order which is great and yummy. We try and come once a month it’s so yummy. The one thing I don’t recommend is sitting in a booth, they are very uncomfortable and you can feel the booth behind you if they move around

Placed an order for pick up today. I get its Valentines day and its busy, which is why i ordered way ahead. I get there at the pick up time I was told and my foods not there. So I wait. More pick up orders come, the guy with the glasses working the front counter was yapping it up with someone. He finally comes back, asks if one of those are mine, I say I dont know because I cant read it. None of them are mine, he says theyre working on it. A while goes by, more pick up orders are being placed on the counter, so I ask the young lady if one of them was for me. I give her my name, she cant find my order on the tablet, she comes back and gets it straightened out. She was more helpful than the other guys that were just chatting it up with eachother and telling everyone it was a “15-20 minute wait max” when the place was super busy.
After this, I’m very disappointed and displeased with Fuji 3. No offer for any comp on their end for the mistake. I usually dont leave bad reviews for places, but I just had to this time. While the food quality has gone down slightly in the past few years, the quality of their staff has dropped dramatically.
I didn’t get the young lady’s name, but I want to thank her for taking the time to get my order taken care of and actually looking into what the issue was.

I’ve been a loyal customer of Fuji Sushi location in San Jose for over 5 years. My wife, two kids, and I usually go there every couple of weeks.

Today’s experience was awful. The salmon and cream cheese in one of the rolls tasted spoiled — it had a rotten, sour flavor. I told our server politely, and a manager came over. Instead of taking my concern seriously, she accused me of lying and insisted the food was fine. And she SAID!! ( I tried on piece and it’s good )

I know what their food usually tastes like — we’ve eaten here dozens of times. I even started feeling sick afterward and couldn’t finish my meal. Still, the manager refused to offer a replacement or any solution and just brought the check, even though I only ate two pieces.

After years of being a regular customer, I was shocked at how rude and unprofessional the staff were. I won’t be coming back.

I strongly recommend people go to the Fuji Sushi in San Marco instead — they treat customers with respect and the food quality is much better.

Menu its a bit confusing, so let me explain its more like a tapas place where you can choose a variety of dishes for one price. You can choose four from the sushi and four of the kitchen side. That’s eight things for like $21.99-24.99. Great deal! Long wait for Friday night! We went all out and order way too much! Their is a sub charge for food not eaten so we payed extra, but it wasn’t a lot! Sushi was Delicious and recommend. The hibachi was not as great very small and meat was hard. I asked for beef fried rice but got plain. Sushi tapas was a lot and every single thing was great! So, I recommend that instead of the hibachi. Its plenty.

OMG! My husband and I had came to Jacksonville, FL for a surgery I needed and were invited to eat here. We’ve never been so full eating sushi like we did here. We love sushi! The waiting time to be seated was 15 minutes, a reasonable time because they were really busy. Price, it’s amazing $18.99 per person at dinner, all you can eat. Service was great. They were constantly coming to check on the table. Food came out quickly and it was delicious. Whenever you go make sure you wear comfortable pants! hahaha I hope they open one in Huntsville, Alabama even though my husband says he doesn’t want to because we will be broke and we will gain a lot of weight!!!

Came here on a recommendation that it was good. Looking at the price i was doubtful. The lunch menu had a bunch of items on it but a lot of it was very similar to each other. I started with a ginger salad which honestly was the worst ginger salad i have ever had. There was like a 1/4″ of water in the bowl and the dressing tasted weird. Ordered some crab rangoon and they don’t even bring out any sauce, same goes for the egg roll. As for the rolls everything was just like mush. There was no “bite” or firmness to the fish. Also they only have 2 i believe sushi chefs so our food took forever to come out. Our second round took so long i was basically not even filled anymore. Our server was very nice and did a decent job of serving us. Honestly, the fact that this place even has a 4* is really disappointing considering how close to the ocean we are. The atmosphere seems run down they have things hanging from the ceiling where Tvs used to be maybe? The whole environment seems run down. Sorry but I wouldn’t go here again.

The servers aren’t very attentive (there was tables that were left uncleared and customers waiting to be seated). The server we had was having full on personal conversations with customers he knew. It took a while to get a drink order placed. On top of that, the food took a while to get to your table and so did the bill.

It is very loud and claustrophobic here, they really try to pack customers in.

The sushi was warm, and had too much eel/mayo sauce, which soaked into the rice. They also did not serve it with wasabi or ginger. The clear soup tasted burnt, and the chicken hibachi was dry. The tempura did not come with tonkatsu sauce and was oily.

The best thing they had was the steak hibachi. The salmon katsu and gyoza was also ok.

They use scrape tuna and salmon and do not tell you. The texture for me is unpleasant as it’s like paste. I tried the hibachi beef but it was too tough to eat. Staff is pleasant enough but the cleanliness needs to be improved.
