I appreciate that this is a family-run business, but I was really disappointed in the food. Plenty of it comes on the plate, but it just isn’t very appetizing, and the prices seemed high. Adding in some bright colors, such as egg and green onions in the fried rice, or snow peas and baby corn, maybe pickles on the side…SOMETHING to alleviate the boring plate would certainly be welcome. Some of the locals enjoy the sushi and are loyal fans, but for me, I think I’ll skip it next time.

Not a bad place at all. The prices are reasonable for the amount of food you get. However I wish the owners had more pride for their restaurant. Needs to be updated and cleaned up, would definitely bring in more customers that way. Other than that it’s a great place to eat or even to get to go! Will definitely be eating here again.

We used Google to find a sushi place in Walterboro. Fuji is the only listing. I was expecting more than 4 rolls on the menu but here we are so lets try it….Before I begin, the lady helping us was extremely nice….We ordered 2 Philly rolls and a California roll. While we are waiting…The place wasn’t filthy but its not clean either. The fryer in the back must have been turned up too high because the whole place reeks of burnt oil. We get our rolls and while they look nice, the rice is warm. Had I not known that they were just made I would not have taken a second bite. It tasted alright but warm, yuck. Our bill came to $31.00 for 3 rolls and 2 sweet teas. I never mind paying premium price for premium product but a strip of cream cheese wrapped in warm rice is far from premium. I have had far better sushi rolls from Publix.

I absolutely love this restaurant, it is the best Asian food in Walterboro. I eat here at least twice a month, it is almost always take out for my convenience, but the fact that I can walk in and in less than 10 minutes I can have a hot, complete, hibachi style meal. That is actually faster than going to a fast food establishment getting a burger and fries, and definitely much better. I recommend this place to anyone who likes hibachi.

Food is good, service is great, and employee’s are friendly. Draw back’s are, first and foremost getting in the driveway is not easy from the far side of the road. Secondly, the interior design is very reserved, it’s nothing extravagant, but has a sense of simplicity. Over all it is a great place to eat.

Today was our first time here and the service was excellent. Our waiter was very friendly and made us feel welcome. The food was delicious and portions were large. I had plenty to take home to enjoy later.

A mom and pop good eats oasis! I walked right into an aromatic stir fry. The chef was plateting at his open table, the kitchen was on display before seating. The entire seasoned arrangement was one like those of a street chef in Vietnam. I was impressed by his techniques and organizef orchestration. He was all passion! His wife was our server and host. Polite and genuinely kind. Our drinks were never empty. The chef was extremely generous with proportions. I ordered the house suggestion of chicken and shrimp fried noodles with veggies. The chicken was cooked on the money! Moist and tender. My shrimp was peeled and perfect in texture. The noodles stood still at the edge of wok, infused with a harmony of fried and boiled excellence! The magic was certainly in his kitchen craft. The flavor was there, hands down.
A fine cuisine chef hidden at the fork of a lonely quiet country road.
At the register, I personally took a few steps into his kitchen to thank him and pay my respects.
I tipped very generously and ask if she could buy the chef a beer at his closing…
There is no wall stairring here. Come hungry and without judgement. Enjoy!

Hands down the best food I’ve ever had the pleasure of putting in my mouth. And the staff is like family. Best place to eat and very comfortable atmosphere.

Business hours means nothing to this place. They’ll be open one week closed the next. No notification or reason, just closed for your inconvenience. Fuji is a great place to eat if they ever give you the privilege

We moved away 3 years ago & have YET to find comparable cuisine. We miss our Weekly Fuji takeout!! Especially the white sauce. Y’all should bottle that. ✌
