We went here upon the recommendation of a friend. They have 1 dollar tacos if u only get 2 toppings. The steak and chorizo tacos were very good but the chicken tacos were outstanding. Also the pork tamales were legit. If I still lived here, I would be there all of the time.

Three Stars because they haven’t figured out how to level out prices. This is for the Indy location: Tacos started off $1. Then “inflation” so they went back to EC Prices (which I don’t understand how you’ll do deals like that in Hammond where there’s PLENTY options but no deals like this in EC where you’re the ONLY option in the Harbor area…but that’s another review.) So I assume business slowed down when the $1 tacos went away…now they’re back with ingredient limits etc. $1 taco (2 toppings)$1.25 (3 toppings), etc but that makes everything else extremely high! I received a 2oz cup of guacamole…$4!!!!! For 2 oz. 1 sope is $5. Ridiculous. All to make tacos $1????? And again…never has it ever been a deal like that where you’re patronized most, East Chicago. So that’s my only complaint. Food is great. Atmosphere great. Service quick. Price increasing other items to balance out your cheap tacos No Bueno.

We ordered taco dinners yesterday. It was horrible. The flour tortillas were rancid. The steak didn’t even taste like steak. The pork tacos had an over bearing spice that gave me heart burn. The elotes were okay. Spending over 35 dollars for this and still had to pay a 3 dollar service fee to use my debit card. Never again. I don’t recommend it.

Came on the recommendation of a friend. Loved the $1 tacos any meat! Also bought the rice and corn. Everything was super tasty and very wallet friendly fed 3 people and got drinks and didnt spend 20 bucks. Expect a wait, this place is ALWAYS packed.

Trash tacos, like seriously no flavor. The chicken was dark pink and still looked dry. The rice and beans are bland also, I’m sorry. My avocado is fresh if that helps. The corn is soupy and l, at best, just ok (I ate as much as I could). Their green sauce looks like jello because it’s solid but jiggly. I’m disappointed that I wasted my money.

Workers were extremely rude and nasty and honestly after the horrible service I received they may have even tampered with my food. The prices are based on whatever the cashier feels like ringing and question them all you hear is a bunch of Spanish which obviously is directed towards you. Won’t be spending my money here again.
