Even more concerning, the meat in all five Korean BBQ tacos was completely undercooked—so raw it was impossible to chew, with a rubber-like texture. This is a serious food safety issue, as consuming meat in this condition could make someone severely ill.
I’m bringing this to your attention because this level of quality and service is not acceptable, and it poses a genuine health risk to customers. I hope this matter is addressed promptly. I will be posting this on all socials until this topic is responded too and resolved.
We came back 10 months later and they must have taken my comment about the beer selection being a little skimpy, because it is much improved. Food was as good as last time, but Mattie added a special touch. They were a little short staffed, but she did a great job attending to us and the other customers. I am putting her in for a big raise.
Well are experience was underwhelming at every turn and if not completely disappointing and not remotely what we expected.
The good , are server was nice and friendly especially with are small kids .
The bad , same server was not very knowledgeable didn’t know the special’s even on Taco Tuesday at a Taco bar.
Second if your hungry don’t bother the portions are kid sized 4 inch taco’s think slightly larger than half a taco bell or taco John’s taco. And there not cheap $3.5 -$4.5 per taco . Lastly it’s very expensive for taco of the caliber and sizes served $30 spent for 6 tacos and left very hungry didn’t bother with drinks at $9+ each that we’re also small think whiskey glass was the largest drink I seen .
The taco’s, the biggest disappointment was a shrimp taco with 1 yes “1” piece of shrimp on it for $4.5 the rest was a filling see pictures and tell me if you can find the shrimp taco . Then there was tacos they were out of so had to change order . The pulled pork was 60% pimento cheese and had no BBQ flavor at all . The basic steak taco(my favorite) was very tasty but was very underfilled with 6 Suger cube sized pieces of steak . My wife’s chicken taco was her favorite and was mercifully filled with decent amount of meat, I also got a fish taco that was the other end of the spectrum so full you couldn’t fold it which was nice given the other taco’s and it was tasty if but very very watery to eat . The other 3 where nothing special to right about frankly and I can’t even remember there name. Let’s just say most the meat was very salty . We asked about the food especially the shrimp taco and was told “everything was made as it is supposed to be .”
Conclusion looks great in pictures, Small sizes, expensive , and you will leave hungry or broke.
Our food was great and the atmosphere is small, and quiet. We love that!
I had 1 chicken and cheese taco, 1 pork bbq with pimento cheese and 2 biria tacos.
Chicken and cheese was a solid 9 for a classic taco.
Bbq pork was good after I removed half the pimento cheese. Otherwise, the pimento was over powering. I’ll say 6 since I had the remove the cheese. Fix the cheese and it’s a 9.
Biria taco’s were not great. 4. The seasoning was wrong and the consume was thick and dark. Everything was just salty with no real spice flavors.
Elote was decent. 7
My wife had the bbq as well. 7 after removing part of the pimento.
Also, she had a Jamaican Jerk. There was no spice to it. She could only taste the salsa. 6
Carne asada was very bland. 5
Shredded duck was juicy and had good flavor. 8
My mother-in-law ate the fuel burger. It was a good burger with no complaints. 8
Scale 1-10
Also, there were ants everywhere outside.
