Best Chinese food ever! Everything tastes fresh and high quality. The shrimp and chicken are fresh, not frozen, and the rice is light, clean, and not greasy at all. You can really tell they care about the food they serve. Highly recommended!

I tried this place a couple of times a year or two ago and it was just “average” so I decided to stick with my favorite: Five Star Chinese food. (Five star doesn’t deliver)
Then, the weather was bad and I wanted delivery.
What a good experience. I found that Fulay’s food is up there with the better “American” Chinese style restaurants.
I had Singapore Mei Fen I had, a delicious shrimp and “Scallop with Garlic Ginger Sauce”. The trick here is to ask for strong taste. I request “strong ginger and garlic taste” is a good way for Chinese folks to understand what we want. I ordered the Singapore Mei Fun with “stong curry taste” too. All my special requests were on point.
Since I wanted some vegetables the shrimp and scallop with garlic and ginger sauce has broccoli and some other stuff so that takes care of everything in one bowl.
The garlic ginger sauce dish was actually pretty darn good it had a nice amount of zip to it and even though it’s a little sweet it isn’t like it came out of a jar like some of the typical Chinese places have.
It’s enough food that if you use the rice perhaps to make 2 meals if you have an appetizer.
I ordered a large hot and sour soup but some places’ h/s soup is vegetarian. I didn’t even ask I just asked them to throw a little pork in there for me. They seemed a little surprised but did so with no question.
I like hot and sour soup but vegetarian hot and sour soup? No.
Then…. GrubHub totally messed up the order I guess they don’t have a strong presence in Stroudsburg Pennsylvania area so after almost 2 hours they just canceled the order and refunded me. Not only this, but GrubHub doesn’t have all of their menu items available so it really is not a good choice.
The people at the restaurant called me a couple of times and apologized they felt terrible but it’s really not their fault so I reordered with doordash and got the food within a half hour. GrubHub offered nothing in comps and not even an apology at all.
It was getting pretty late at night so I didn’t get a chance to really eat as much as I wanted to but I had food for a couple of days and had a pretty good experience overall.
One thing I also liked about dealing with the man over the phone at Fulay was that he is patient and listens to detail.
I want to add that the Winter weather was terrible so I was glad to get the delivery at all.
It’s pretty good to have these independent restaurants versus what seems to be chain restaurants and corporations taking over so let’s support our local folks these are families that work hard and work at the American dream.

In my opinion, this is the most consistently good Chinese food restaurants in the area. I would rather drive 20 minutes to pick up food here, than to order from the three other Chinese restaurants that are closer to my house. I usually order Kung Pao Beef(no peppers, onions, or nuts, just beef and extra spicy Kung Pao sauce), Chicken and broccoli with shrimp fried rice, or Beef fried rice and chicken wings. The food always tastes fresh, and I feel like they are more intentional about making sure the food is always good.

Fu Lay is the closest yet in flavor to N.Y. chinese restaurants. It almost feels like you’re there. Great service and relaxed atmosphere.

Ordered some delivery today, I ordered before Chow mein which usually comes with noodles. This one just came in some clear, gooey sauce. No rice, no noodles… honestly scared to eat it.
