I gave five stars because they ran out of peapods (had already ordered in the restaurant) for C25–beef with peapods. I changed over to garlic beef (with no broccoli) and they accommodated–no problem. Food was tasty and the fried rice unique–not your typical style–a nice change (not greasy at all and light/spicy). Hot and sour soup average–but enjoyable. Great family owned place–will have fried dumplings next time. Great portions for the price!

Delicious asian food in Burlington! Moreover, the food was affordable. I ordered the beef with oyster sauce and shrimp egg foo young for $16-ish. The portion was big, u could enjoy the food with ur partner. The beef and the shrimp were also abundant, so yummy. U could dine in since there were plenty tables in the restaurant, even though most people prefered taking out. Beside plenty tables, the resto had various kind of food, so u didn’t need to worry finding the one that matched with ur taste. The resto was clean, and the staffs were so kind and friendly. There were restrooms in the resto, but u should ask for the keys.

I love it here! it feels like you are looking in the wrong end of binoculars! amazing food. i love the atmosphere. sooo low key. i ordered the kung pao chicken combo. WOULD recommend. i also tried the crab rangoon my friend ordered. also very delicious. crispy!
another highlight is the straws. like if you order a soda, they give u the cutest straw. wow. no music, peaceful vibe. it was like $10 for the combo and its a lot of food.
edit: i heard a rumor that if you walk from the door to the counter in five steps or less.. your food is free!! but! no knocking into other patrons. and no one can help you (carry you, etc)

AMAZING chinese takeout! they are always super friendly whenever we go in to pick up our orders. it takes them 15-20 minutes to make your order and it’s always so good! the quantities are worth the money. this is my go-to for chinese takeout every time!

My son and I are in the process of visiting every Chinese restaurant in Chittenden County. We always order the same thing.
I order a chicken and broccoli combo with pork fried rice and an egg roll. My son orders a sesame chicken combo with pork fried rice and beef teriyaki sticks.
Price: $18.65 or $.35/oz is higher than average for Chittenden County.
Portion: 3.6 lbs between the two meals is less than average.
Pros: High traffic convenient location in downtown Burlington
Ten minute turnaround from order to pickup.

Sesame Chicken had good flavor
Cons: The yellow pork fried rice was a bit dry and lacked flavor.
They wouldn’t allow us to swap an egg-roll appetizer for beef teriyaki sticks. Rather, they allowed an egg-roll swap for chicken teriyaki sticks instead (odd).
They’re still using older, smaller takeout containers which most Chinese takeouts have transitioned away from.
They didn’t provide utensils, napkins, soy sauce packets, duck sauce packets, or fortune cookies.
Impression: Convenient location in downtown Burlington offering less than generous portion size with mixed review on flavor depending on the food item, earning Fu Da’s a 2.5 star review.
