I got the snow cheese fried chicken a few weeks ago, it’s definitely unique. I got the drumsticks (which were huge) and it was really good …

So I was skeptical about powdered cheese on a drumstick! But after watching Joshua Weissman’s video, and seeing the other reviews, I decided to drop by. These wings are massive, and of high quality. It was fried to perfection. The interior was juicy and flavorful. The cheese blended in quite well with the chicken more than I thought it would! Some hints of garlic? The crispiness was very nice. I also had the Gochujang tenders. So good! These were also juicy, yet crispy on the exterior. It wasn’t overly spicy, but just spicy enough. The sesame seeds accompanying the tenders was a nice touch. The staff was really nice! Definitely recommend folks try the tenders and the snow cheese chicken wings!

I haven’t been in person just yet, but have ordered from this place many times. Delicious gluten-free fried chicken every single time! Although I can’t seem to find any info on if the other things are gf as well. Mac n cheese? Gravy? The sando? Would love to know.

Been waiting to try this place FOREVER and was blown away by the food. Snow cheese drumsticks were perfect. Gochujang drumsticks almost as perfect, really nice crunch and tangy coating. Lots of attention to detail with the pickles and shredded greens on the side. Honestly though any place that hands you food service plastic gloves to eat your meal with is a win in my book, oh and our toddler loved it too! Bonus was reheating the chicken in our oven at home and broiling the snow cheese at the end. Got some crazy char and unlocked many new bonus levels of flavor. Oh and and gluten free items clearly marked with no reactions to any of the foods. Bangin!

If you’re on the hunt for the best fried chicken in town, Frybaby is the food truck you need to visit. Specializing in crispy, flavorful wings and sandwiches, this spot delivers top-tier comfort food that’s both creative and deeply satisfying.

The first bite into their wings tells you everything you need to know—perfectly crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside, and coated in bold, well-balanced flavors. The Korean-inspired spicy wings, sprinkled with black and white sesame seeds, have just the right amount of heat and sweetness, making them completely addictive. If spice isn’t your thing, their parmesan-coated wings bring a savory, umami-packed punch with a light, cheesy crunch.

The fried chicken sandwich is equally impressive. The golden, crispy chicken pairs beautifully with the toasted bun and fresh greens, making every bite a mix of crunch, creaminess, and a hint of spice.

Beyond the food, Frybaby stands out for its attention to detail, high-quality ingredients, and a menu that feels both nostalgic and innovative. Whether you’re a wing connoisseur or just someone who appreciates seriously good fried chicken, this is a must-try spot. Highly recommended!

Their chicken has the perfect amount of breading to chicken ratio & they’re big! The meat is so juicy and they give you gloves to eat them. The kimchi mac and cheese is balanced with a small hint of spice so everyone can enjoy! If you’ve never had kimchi before you may not like it, but if you’re feeling adventurous it tastes creamy, cheesy, spicy and a little sour.. the noodles are also cooked to al dente (the superior noodle texture). The plum drink could use a bit more plum extract or syrup in my opinion, I didnt taste much of the plum but it was refreshing for what it was.

I got a recommendation from a friend so I had high hopes going in and I was not disappointed! The chicken was delicious and probably the crispiest chicken I’ve ever had! Everything we ordered was amazing, flavorful, and gorgeous and I can’t wait to go back but unfortunately I live a little bit away.

We had the snow drumsticks and gochugung drumsticks with a side of kimchi mac and cheese. Both of the types of chicken were super crunchy!

I’ve been wanting to try this place forever, and it was 100% worth it. I originally showed up to the Stark location and discovered they’d moved to The Heist in SE, so we made the drive over and I’m so glad we did.

I ordered takeout and they finished the order really fast! I didnt end up eating til maybe an hour later (traffic on the way home) and the chicken was still unbelievably crispy. That alone is impressive, but the flavor took it to another level. This is naturally gluten-free Korean fried chicken, and even the people I was with who don’t have gluten allergies said it was the best fried chicken they’ve ever had.
I got the gochujang full wings with mash and curry gravy, which are also gluten-free. The mash instantly reminded me of KFC in the best, nostalgic way, but the gravy was the real star. It was rich, flavorful, and had just a little spicy kick that kept me going back for more. The chicken itself was tender inside with a crispy outside and the sauce had a nice little kick but not overwhelming. I felt the curry gravy had more spice than the chicken.

Living with a gluten allergy often means saying goodbye to so many favorite foods, especially fried chicken. Finding a place like this feels like winning the lottery. This wasn’t just great for gluten-free. This was one of the best I’ve ever had, period. I’m so grateful to have the greatest Korean fried chicken in our GF corner now.
Can’t wait to come back!
