We decided to try out a new restaurant in town – they’ve only been open for a couple of days. But even knowing that they surpassed expectations. Here’s a breakdown:

Boom Boom Shrimp Sandwich & Fries – “It ☠️ me with goodness! It was so delicious! The shrimp was so tender (like chicken). And I really love the Daddy sauce! I would 10/10 get the shrimp again! And extra sauce please! The fries were crunchy but not too hard, and with the fry daddy sauce – AMAZING!

Single Cheese Burger & Onion Rings – This was my order & it was perfect! I was really worried about losing my burger spot when Sam’s closed, but Fry Daddy’s did NOT disappoint! It was cooked to perfection – done without being overdone. The veggies tasted crisp & fresh. I could have done with a little less mayo & mustard – I’m definitely going to have to change shirts (but I’m also a messy eater). The onion rings were absolutely delicious & didn’t taste like gross grease like several places I’ve had.

Philly Steak Sandwich & Red Beans and Rice – To start off, part of the reason this gets three stars is my fault. I didn’t pay attention to what came on the sandwich (tomato & lettuce); I assumed it would be made the same as anywhere else. So I am definitely going to be giving this another shot! The meat was very well cooked – wasn’t seasoned as much as I would prefer but it wasn’t bland either. They didn’t put cheese, but I know to request it next time. The red beans & rice was definitely the star of the show! The beans were seasoned to perfection & the rice was exactly al dente – 10/10 would get it again!

Philly Steak Fries Appetizer – Delicious! But I would err on the side of caution if you truly want this as an appetizer; it’s an entire meal in itself!

Baklava Dessert – Wow. Just wow. Nostalgia in spades! Dripping with honey and big enough to feed four with leftovers! Be warned: if you’re not a sweet fan – this is not for you.
The food was amazing! There were a couple of mistakes (we asked for the sauce to be on the side with Mahli’s sandwich, but thankfully she ended up loving the sauce & they put the Daddy sauce on top of John’s sandwich when it was supposed to just be mayo) – but they’re still figuring things out so it’s forgivable. They were out of tiramisu – so that’s something to look forward to next time! And their frozen lemonade machine was down – also something to look forward to.
The staff was super friendly, polite, & helpful! Even the cooks that I could see had smiles on their faces.
The lobby was clean. New booths & tables were really nice.
Overall it was a wonderful experience & we will definitely be ordering from there again!

Ordered a tray of wings for my works pot luck thing we were doing. Called ahead of time told them what time i needed them, staff said they make sure they ready. They were hot and well wrapped in foil, wings were a hit, Good size, Got garlic parm and Buffalo. Buffalo got a nice sutle kick to eat. Will be back

You know going there that you will have a fast food experience. However, the owners are the cooks and servers so this is now an old-fashioned fast-food dinner experience….clean atmosphere, tasty food, friendly people. Sam and his Dad are great for our community.

Just ate here for the first time. If you haven’t had it yet you are missing out!! The fish is outstanding as well as the shrimp! Chicken tenders were super juicy too! The sauce they have is out of this world good! Everything was cooked fresh when we ordered. Super friendly people and super good food!

Sam & the crew at Fry Daddy’s Benton, LA are awesome. The food is so delicious & it’s always hot. Its always fresh, never precooked & kept in a warmer or oven. They are always friendly & get to know their customers, by first name. They stay open later than all the other places in Benton. Which makes it great for those of us that dont eat until after 6pm & they are OPEN on Sundays. YES, OPEN SUNDAYS!
