Alaskan Style BBQ with one of the best Burgers you will get in Alaska. We take pride in all our Homemade dishes and we strive for the best customer service. We are located INSIDE LAT65 Brewery. When you enter the Brewery you will see our ordering booth beside the Bar, you will place your order and we will give you a buzzer. Once the buzzer goes off we will have your food at the ordering and you take it back to your table. We try to have Slow Smoked Brisket, Pulled Pork always on the menu but our menu does switch to offer other BBQ items. Our food and LAT65 Beer is the perfect combo to a great night out AND its family friendly. Oh and don’t forget to to try our Ted’s Tundra Tea Very Sweet

A neat little restaurant, ordering and seating is inside Latitude 65. I got the macaroni smash burger and my husband had brisket with beans. I really enjoyed the smash burger, it was nice and crispy. My husband loves BBQ and was excited to try this restaurant but thought the brisket was a bit too fatty and the side of beans was pretty pricy for the portion. He really enjoyed the sauces though.

Frozen Smoke BBQ was exceptional—highly recommended for both locals and visitors. We came in using coupons from a local curling bonspiel, and the experience was outstanding.
My family is vegetarian while I eat meat, and the staff went above and beyond to make sure everyone had great food. The service was professional, friendly, and top-notch. They even gave us tips for spotting the aurora, which we were able to see later that night!
The brewery looks awesome and has a great selection of local drinks. Easily a 10/10 experience.

This is a nice bbq place connected to a brew company. The 4 stars is for the great burger I got there. They are remodeling so I’m not sure how much changes how they function daily. Keeping them from 5 stars is price vs food. A 20$ sandwich should come with a side. The business itself is a self serve model where you order then go get you food when called. Get your own drink at the water fountain and order a tap at the other counter if you want. There is no one waiting on you. That’s actually a fine layout but I’m not tipping here anymore than I would be at McDonald’s with their setup. Again great burger and the brisket is on point, original sauce all the way.

Went in today (12/29/25) and the place was chaotic. No understanding of how things worked. Do you seat yourself, do you wait etc. Place was small on the inside, very limited seating available. We ended up leaving. It felt like take out was the main way to eat and we weren’t looking for take out.
I’ll say this tho, it smelled great, it looked popular, the menu (online) looked great and im sure its a nice place.
My issues can be easily remedied by a sign or even a staff member. I know we weren’t the only ones confused based on the reactions and conversations of the other people who walked in about the same time we did. We may try a 2nd time in the future because my issue isn’t one that causes people to never come back. It just prevents us from experiencing a potentially great place.
Edit: Update 12/31/25.
The reply was appreciated and knowing that the owners understood and acknowledged my issue instead of dismissing ensured that I’ll definitely go back for a 2nd try. Thank you frozen smoke for the reply.

Frozen Smoke has THE BEST pulled pork nachos. Seriously- these are top notch! The chips are always covered in the amazing cheese sauce but still remain ‘crisp’- YUM. The fresh tomatoes and lettuce on top.. the generous portion size..I could go on and on. Our favorite place to get nachos in town!

Cool concept, food truck style BBQ inside a brewery.
The burger was decent, though wished for a bit thicker patties. PB on a burger didn’t do it for me, but totally worth the try.
There are no fries or onion rings on the menu, so you are basically stuck with slaw or Mac & cheese. I would have rated higher for more options here.

Hands down the best place we had food while on our Alaskan vacation/College visit to UAF. The burgers are AMAZING, the best we’ve had. Everything was great, the staff were incredibly friendly, the vibe of the spot was so welcoming and chill. We loved the local art and bought some to bring home. Can’t wait to get back, until then we savor the bottles of BBQ we brought home : )

This is, without a doubt, one of the go to places in Fairbanks. Everything I have ever had has been incredible, fresh and tasty. The lettuce wrapped smash burgers are my go to as I eat low carb.highly recommended.

Noisy and not very comfortable seating. The 1/2 lbs brisket was very greasy but tasted ok. BBQ sauce tasted like mostly catchup. I had coleslaw, but missed something like French fries to go with the brisket.
Hubby had a Chipotle Smash, that came extremely sloppy and almost impossible to eat as it was falling apart. He was not impressed and said he would not come back.
Service was adequate for a order and pick up counter. Food was out quickly and we were provided with a beeper which was nice as it eliminated the staff from calling out names for orders, adding to an already hectic and noisy environment.

When I order bbq from a bbq joint I expect it to be better than I could make at home. The brisket Mac and cheese was disappointing.
