Checked out this location for Forthy which is a exposed brick warehouse vibe with street parking available (which is a rare find in Nashville). It’s a large nicely lit dinning area with counter seating, dinning area and high tops. There are a wide variety of coffees and teas, vegan options on the menu, along with lunch amd breakfast options. I had the chicken salad sandwich served with a side of tortilla chips/salsa. I has the bloody mary as a drink which was fine, nothing our of ordinary. All staff were attentive and friendly.

We have been going to this Frothy Monkey for years. It’s always been quite busy but never too loud for me.
They have made a few changes the last year or so that elevate it from a more casual and simple cafe. It feels much more like a Parisian Restaurant experience in that they have silverware ready and a full menu awaiting you, with a waitress, so you no longer simply order a coffee a beer or sandwich.
I met with a colleague and worked on editing some documents Huawei begin with espresso and finished with a beer. Overall it was a positive experience with a great atmosphere and it seems like a professional setting.
They had wonderful coffee and some great local beers on draft.

Great brunch spot, we keep coming back! Food is tasty and service is always good, even when it’s busy. Also a nice place to study or work for a bit.

I’ve loved Frothy Monkey for years, and in the last 10 months have had to eliminate dairy from my diet for health reasons. I asked for no cheese on my burger and when it was brought to the table with cheese, I pointed it out. The waitress picked up my plate and went about 2 or 3 ft from the table where a waiter stopped her to see what was wrong. She immediately came back to the table to tell me multiple times there was no cheese anywhere on the burger. I was never given the option to order something else, or acknowledged at all while my mom ate her burger (that was also supposed to be no cheese, but hers is preference, not health related). They just avoided our table until we asked for our check, and had to make sure we weren’t charged since I couldn’t eat it. The side salad was bland and only arugula.
Keep in mind the photo is the second layer of burger, but the cheese is on the top layer with the bacon jam.

Nice location, easy parking, beautiful interior. Crappy customer service. So first of all, the coffee menu doesn’t have any prices on it at all. I ordered a drink with half syrup and after trying it, I decided I wanted more syrup in there and an extra shot. Service was very slow, but they did that, then when I got the bill, it said $6, which was 100% voided out because of “customer dissatisfaction,” so it was free. Then we asked for my friend’s bill (they only brought mine) and my bill was taken away (why?), they brought my friend’s bill and my bill (a different one) then on my bill they charged me the full price for the drink and espresso shot, no discount. And my total was $8.23. A ripoff!!! So not only did they charge more in addition to the full price but there was no discount when my first bill said that it was FREE… never coming back here. My drink didn’t taste any different when they brought it back to me and it was deceptive because the first bill said it was free and then the second one was $8.23…

BEEF & EGGS.
I came in for brunch after church on Sunday, to read and relax in a coffee shop… Frothy monkey is a beautiful location with the best aesthetic! On top of that… the staff is incredible! My waitress recommended the beef and eggs, probably because I look like I was starving haha, it was phenomenal! The beef was so tender it fell apart with barely touching it with my fork! And the potato’s…. Incredible. Paired with the eggs it all fit together so perfectly!
I will be back without a doubt! Probably tomorrow honestly!

The smell was amazing as soon as you walk through the doors. Fresh coffee and something about the wood in the building. The high ceiling really added charm to the space. There is plenty of seating both individuals and groups.
Gluten free pastry options – we loved the blueberry muffins.
The Golden Monkey latte had a special pleasant spice of turmeric and black pepper. Perfectly balanced with honey. Another favorite beverage was the mocha latte. Staff were very friendly and willing to explain details about any drink or food items.

The food was mediocre at best. The sausage patties were literally hockey pucks. Burnt, overcooked and dry. Scrambled eggs were overcooked and dry. Eggs over well were decent, had good flavor. Sourdough toast was delicious. Cheeseburger was super overcooked and served with tortilla chips which was a bit odd to me. Bacon was overcooked but crispy. Jalapeño cheddar bagel did not hit the mark and barely comes with cream cheese. It was dry with no flavor just bits of jalapeños in it which were very dry, no cheddar flavor at all. My Havana latte and Irish coffee was delicious. Sprite didn’t taste like sprite and once I told the server she decided to tell me they were out of sprite. Not sure why we weren’t told when we ordered it! French toast was boring and dry as well. Not sure if their secret is fried and dry but everything lacked flavor and was way too dry. Service was horrible. Ambiance is very nice indoors. I believe you can also sit outside. I would only get coffee drinks here and not eat.
