My first time there, i have driven by there several times passing between Maynardville and Johnson city. The food was really good. It was also very reasonably priced. The staff was super friendly. A guy waited on me, seemed like a nice guy, but several other other people made eye contact and smiled. It seems like a place that everyone knows everyone, and even though they didn’t know me from Adam, they made it seem like they did.I will be back

If i could give this place 10 stars i would. found this place on a fb page called small town usa. thought id give it a try. when we got there the smell of real hamburgers hits you in the face. the staff were very nice and straight forward and quick. prices there are way cheaper than mcdonalds or any fast food burger joint. me my wife and child ate for around 22 bucks. their are fresh made and smashed on a flat iron grill. they were excellent. as a extra bonus their milkshakes are excellent too with fresh ingredients. we will be back. i will give them 10 stars.

I can’t say enough good things about this establishment!!! It’s like a little gem from the past!!!
My father and I stopped here on our way to Kentucky, as we did four decades before and the food was actually more delicious than I remembered as a child.
We both had the “Whopper Plate” which consists of a Burger, a hot dog and your choice of fries or onion rings (he got fries, I got onion rings and we shared ) all of this for $6.60!!!
Everything was fresh and scrumptious!!!
The staff was both friendly and prompt.
The atmosphere is as if you stepped back in time and was in an old 50’s diner.
Please notice the prices posted in the pictures below. If a “Ma and Pa Restaurant” can serve quality food at this price, EVERY restaurant should be able to…but they aren’t!! It’s not inflation, it’s greed by corporations!!! Thank you Frostee Freeze for not following that trend and serving quality food at a more than fair price!!!
In conclusion, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS RESTAURANT!!! 10 out of 10!!! Be sure to tip the staff, they well deserve it!!!

This place was recommended by someone local. I will say it looks nice and a lot of people were getting orders to go so it is very popular.
I know that sometimes you just don’t get lucky on a meal you order. Maybe that was my case.
I ordered a plain cheeseburger and other than Krystal have never received less meat on a hamburger in my life. I could see through holes in it, it was that thin. My fries were also the most drenched in oil that I’ve ever had in my entire life… No joke. I Sun that up to bad luck again. My wife and kids fries looked somewhat better. My burger and fries are pictured with this post.
The price for it mask was very affordable but I couldn’t finish the fries and the ones I did eat were smashed in napkins to get the grease out. I eat at diners similar to this as much as possible and this was a huge letdown.
Again, judging by the asking of people waiting for orders in their cars outside, if say they do something right. I just think maybe I had bad luck here. To be in vacation I feel I wasted my time here when there were many other restaurants I’d love to try on my 40 minute drive here from the park we are staying at.

Corner stop and go burger joint that offers cheap good with good flavor. All the food is cooked to order and tastes amazing.
The staff is friendly and speed of service was average compared to other establishments.

My friend Tammy and I went to the Frosty Freeze after meeting with her family all day. We got there as fast as we could and arrived 15 minutes before closing. We were still welcomed. I had the double cheeseburger and large fries… Good Lawd, was it good ! I had the butterscotch milkshake…INCREDIBLE!! Adelyn, this sweet 16 year old Christian lady took care of us in the dining room. I have traveled the world, I don’t know if I have ever met more of a respectful, sweet, happy young lady in my life. Tammy and I loved her!! We will definitely be back as soon as possible!

Great little hamburger joint. I got the cheeseburger and fries. The cheeseburger was a little small, next time I will get the double cheeseburger, I wasn’t very hungry today. But for the price, just over $3, it was great! I will definitely go back! The hamburger patty tasted great, the lettuce and tomato were fresh. Just a really good burger. For a cheeseburger and fries I paid right over $6. That’s cheep for the quality of food that you get. I highly recommend checking them out.
