This is a favorite restaurant in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. It is easy to understand why ! The food is very fresh and delicious. I doubt that you could ever get a less than perfect meal. Thr restaurant is WELCOMING AND THE WAITRESSES EMBRACE THE CUSTOMER WITH GREAT REVERENCE AND ATTENTION. They play attention to details. This friendly restaurant is a wonderful place to meet family and friends. I highly recommend eating here.

The Front Street Diner is an excellent and convenient option for late-night dining, especially since I have painters at my home who finished late to complete the job.

Joey was our server. Very friendly knowledgeable about the menu. We had
chicken rice soup, salmon, and turkey. Food came out promptly and was well prepared. We were full! And dessert to go.

Sweet waitresses, comfortable atmosphere and great breakfast. I’ve been coming here for years. One of my regular breakfast: corn beef hash(well done), easy-over eggs and potatoes.

This is a hometown diner with many loyal locals. Everyone was friendly and welcoming. Our server was efficient, friendly, and helpful. The food came out moment after we ordered. The quality of the food okay, but the prices are very reasonable. Maybe skip the pancakes and get an omelette. We left full and happy to have visited a locals place with a family atmosphere.

Disappointed! The food didn’t impress & wasn’t very good. Highly lacking in flavor. The mashed potatoes were clearly not homemade & what taste they had didn’t taste good. Both mashed potatoes & potato filling were not good. The “homemade” bread was a roll that became as hard as a rock shortly after being served. The beef tips with aujus is just roast beef with beef flavored water. I’ve had better aujus even at chain restaurants. The roast turkey my mom got had very little roast turkey compared to other places we’ve been.

We were traveling and just happened upon this place. It was great. From the moment we walked in. We were greeted and seated immediately. Their waitress are right there with drink orders and then food orders, the food came out very quickly. Good taste. Waitress was around enough to see if we needed anything but not too much. Perfect! Prices were very good also.

This was a great place to go! I got the avocado eggs Benedict and home fries with onions it was very delightful! My coworkers got the regular eggs Benedict. It comes with Canadian bacon I spent roughly $12 on my meal. The waitress was very nice and able to finish our orders conveniently, the food took a little while, but it was very full and many people were coming in and out. The atmosphere was just fine. It’s a normal Diner setting. I am very glad I went there and would definitely come again.

I went to grab a bite to eat at the Front Street Diner. One of the items on the specials board was Swiss steak. I ordered the Swiss steak. It came with 3 sides. The tossed salad was crispy and nice and fresh. The cauliflower was fresh and very good. The French fries were excellent. What I received as an entre was not a Swiss Steak. I’ve had Swiss steak there before and it was very good. What I was served was pieces of roast beef covered over with a nice gravy. I don’t know if they ran out of Swiss Steak but if they are not going to serve Swiss steak, they should tell the customer it is not available instead of trying to fake it.
