Honestly, the east side does not have a lot of good good food. Chef Tone and Co. are bringing us heat with their menus. I highly recommend the lamb chops, but I’ve never had anything I did not like. I also love the transparency and accountability if needed, such as an infux of orders (which is good for them) but means your food will take a bit longer. I will always pick eating at From The Heart Food Truck over any establishment.

Let me start off by saying this is one of my favorite spots in the city. I’ve been coming here for about 3 years now. Comfort soul food at its finest. I’ve had almost every menu item and each plate never missed a beat. My personal favorite is the crabby wings. They are to die For. The guys and sometimes (lady) are very polite and efficient when it comes to speediness of service and customer service. Portioning is always good. Box is always heavy and full. All in all, 10/10 would definitely recommend ! Keep grinding man b

This place is a joke. They steal peoples money and don’t hold up their end of the bargain. They were booked for a business opening and never showed, never responded after the money was paid to them and they have yet to refund the money.
