Awesome little destination for brunch – not cheap, but fantastic food and the cutest browsing/shopping for Christmas things.

It was busy when we arrived so we sat at the bar for appetizers. Had the artichoke dip (best ever had) and quesadillas (already ate 2 in picture) with delicious salsa. Also the hubby liked the soup of the day…a tomato something. Great place to grab a bite. And shop!!!! Who could ask for more.

We were in town for a friends wedding and they had a bigger ceremony and reception here (smaller reception at the house we stayed at Big Blue Stevensville def recommend). So the venue is gorgeous and the food was really good, however they were not prepared for the larger crowd. There was about 150ish people, my friend splurged on the highest liquor package (which she said was like $70/per person!) and there were only like 3 or 4 liquor brands/choices and they ran out by the end!! They also ran out of food!! Not only that the food wasn’t ready on time, so the DJ had to keep trying to entertain the guest. I’m not saying I wouldn’t have my wedding here, but I wouldn’t pay everything upfront with the type of issues they had. I mean it was beautiful and the food was really good, transition from ceremony to reception was super smooth, but the food and liquor, when you are paying that much is a pretty big deal. It’s certainly something easy enough to improve on, as service and staff were amazing, but again, at the prices being paid, I’d def want to not worry about running out! There is a small bridal area for getting dressed, but if you have a lot of bridesmaids, hair and makeup, you won’t all fit. However there is another larger room that would accommodate. Not sure if there is a groomsmen area? I’m sure something could be done if not. All in all it’s an amazing place and beautiful venue! I wouldn’t say I highly recommend, but I’d recommend. If it weren’t for running out of stuff I would give 5 stars. Gravy was amazing!!

Cute place in this very nice town. We had several lunch items. The burgers are good and the berry and nut salad. The cheese toast however could use some help. Was a little like microwaved Munster on bread. lol

We had a wonderful girls’ brunch date! Drinks and food were great. Service was friendly, attentive, and welcoming. The shopping area in the restaurant is a bonus!

What a cool, unique space!
We all enjoyed our breakfast.

The jalapeño jam for the savory stuffed french toast was excellent. Others in our group loved the biscuits & gravy, the avocado bagel and the traditional breakfast.

Would gladly return to try more off the menu!

This was our second visit in 2 weeks and it has quickly become our favorite place we’ll worth driving 25 minutes. You get a nice welcome feeling every time. It is a very cute small town place with just enough offerings to satisfy a diverse palate. The place however is full of vibrant vibes with open kitchen, a bar, a deli and lots of jams, jellies, relishes, vines and whatnot. Salads are huge, dressing is fresh and flavorful, sandwiches are large and desserts are divine. They also have their own bakery just across the street where you can get fresh pastries, sweet treats, quiche, breads and a few snack items.
While food is delicious and ambiance is inviting, service is superior. All requests are received and accommodated if at all possible. I was greeted warmly by at least 6 employees. You don’t get that in big cities.
In summary a place worth making a special trip for.

EDITORIAL REMARK – reply to owner’s response: Froelich’s blames our budget for their incompetence. However, we paid exactly what they asked for on our settled menu. Froelich’s admitted they were inexperienced and used our wedding as a learning tool. Given this, they incompetently handled our wedding (see below). Please note – Froelich’s never once told us of this inexperience. Had I known, I would not have chosen their venue.

ORIGINAL REVIEW WITH EDITS:

Had my wedding here 2 years ago. It’s taken me time to write this review, because of how upset I was. I’ll start with the good and move to the bad.

The good: The venue is gorgeous, spacious, and perfect for photos. Parking is easy and plentiful.

The bad: Extremely poor service, bland food, poor food and drink planning, and unprofessional attitude.

My wedding reception was a brunch buffet with simple breakfast menus like eggs and bacon. We purchased the highest drink package they had which had no limit on beer and mimosas. We paid for approximately 140 guests. 10 LESS guests came to our wedding but we did not tell the venue to reduce the food or drink, because we figured better to have more than less. For the settled upon menu, We paid EXACTLY what Froelich’s asked us to pay for 140 guests.

On my wedding day, Froelich’s still had their regular restaurant open for brunch, which was packed. They likely did not have kitchen capacity or enough food to supply both the full restaurant and 130 of my guests.

This poor planning was painfully evident in the food being an hour late to arrive, running short of food and alcohol, the stressed out staff, and a chaotic demand for money mid wedding.

LATE FOOD: when my wedding planner went to check on what the delay was, they were extremely rude to her. They told her to go away, but did not have any solutions.

SHORT FOOD/ALCOHOL: Despite paying MORE for LESS people, the venue somehow RAN OUT of food and alcohol.

CHAOTIC DEMAND FOR MONEY: Then in the middle of my wedding reception they asked me for more money to purchase more alcohol. I was in my wedding dress, had guests to entertain, and of course did not have my wallet with me. Even still they demanded more money right then and there. They should have asked me AFTER my wedding. My guests were hungry, there were long wait times for drinks, and I had an owner shaking me down for more money. Their chaotic and embarrassing behavior made my day unnecessarily stressful.

UNPROFESSIONALISM: When I spoke with the owner to express my dissatisfaction and disappointment, she was dismissive and did not take any responsibility. In reply to their response below, I’ve reviewed my invoices and correspondences and see that Froelich’s response is not only unprofessional, but false and misleading. Again, after agreeing on a set menu, we paid EXACTLY what they asked. I am once again disappointed by Froelich’s 2 years later. Every anniversary I have, I am forced to think about how poorly we were treated on my wedding day. It’s a ruined memory.

I am also removing a star for their unprofessional handling of my review. My wedding guest, Brittney, reviewed Froelich’s giving them 2 stars. Andrew reached out to her privately to try and rectify the situation. Instead of affording me the same courtesy they reply inferring that their incompetence was my budget’s fault.

CONCLUSION: To any brides thinking of booking this venue…be cautious.

April 2024 update: The Dirty Cajun is still a darn tasty drink. The employees remain friendly, helpful, and engaging. The Deconstructed Cinnamon Roll is still decadent. Lois is still a gem and a highlight of our visits!

We came to Froehlich’s for the first time to enjoy lunch. We were so impressed that we returned for dinner. That was even more impressive, so we returned for breakfast the next day!

Anyone in business who wants to see how a restaurant and retail operation should be run needs to come take a look at Froehlich’s. Spotless facility where the employees are genuinely happy and work together to ensure total customer satisfaction. Seamless operation with absolute focus on delivering the best – and that’s exactly what they do. From the Trifecta Pepper Burger, to Cedar Planked Salmon, and the not to be missed Deconstructed Cinnamon Roll – excellence shines through in every dish. Lois, Andrew, Dave, Rhonda, and many others on both the restaurant and retail side were just great folks. It’s great to see happy employees in roles where they can shine. The quality comes through in every aspect of operations.

Also, if you’re a fan of the spicier side of life, ask Rhonda to make a Dirty Cajun for you. I can’t compare the taste to anything else…it is unique, delicious, and a little bit addictive.

We came to Three Oaks planning to wander and sample all the town had to offer. In terms of restaurant experience, we didn’t need to find anything else after discovering Froehlich’s. Simply great food, fantastic employees and a wonderful experience.

Stopped here for lunch and stayed to enjoy the magic that is Froelich’s. We chose the Deconstructed Cinnamon Roll and the Frittata of the Day- the Caprese Frittata for sharing. The cinnamon roll is absolutely delicious-unlike any we’ve ever had before! Flaky light and the cinnamon spread that’s lightly broiled on top is just perfect. And it’s for sale in the food shop located behind the dining area. The frittata was also light and flavorful. Enjoyed every bite!! Our server, Andrew was so friendly and attentive, too.
So of course, after lunch we strolled around the shop and marveled at the eye catching food, beverage and decor displays. We met Derek, the floor manager and he invited us to try some of their freshly made coffee from beans they roast on site. Wow! We definitely bought a bag of the coffee. And we then met the owner, Colleen Froelich. She was warm and gracious and took time out of her busy day to talk to us. Just a lovely experience all round! We’ll be back soon!
