We all enjoyed our breakfast.
The jalapeño jam for the savory stuffed french toast was excellent. Others in our group loved the biscuits & gravy, the avocado bagel and the traditional breakfast.
Would gladly return to try more off the menu!
While food is delicious and ambiance is inviting, service is superior. All requests are received and accommodated if at all possible. I was greeted warmly by at least 6 employees. You don’t get that in big cities.
In summary a place worth making a special trip for.
ORIGINAL REVIEW WITH EDITS:
Had my wedding here 2 years ago. It’s taken me time to write this review, because of how upset I was. I’ll start with the good and move to the bad.
The good: The venue is gorgeous, spacious, and perfect for photos. Parking is easy and plentiful.
The bad: Extremely poor service, bland food, poor food and drink planning, and unprofessional attitude.
My wedding reception was a brunch buffet with simple breakfast menus like eggs and bacon. We purchased the highest drink package they had which had no limit on beer and mimosas. We paid for approximately 140 guests. 10 LESS guests came to our wedding but we did not tell the venue to reduce the food or drink, because we figured better to have more than less. For the settled upon menu, We paid EXACTLY what Froelich’s asked us to pay for 140 guests.
On my wedding day, Froelich’s still had their regular restaurant open for brunch, which was packed. They likely did not have kitchen capacity or enough food to supply both the full restaurant and 130 of my guests.
This poor planning was painfully evident in the food being an hour late to arrive, running short of food and alcohol, the stressed out staff, and a chaotic demand for money mid wedding.
LATE FOOD: when my wedding planner went to check on what the delay was, they were extremely rude to her. They told her to go away, but did not have any solutions.
SHORT FOOD/ALCOHOL: Despite paying MORE for LESS people, the venue somehow RAN OUT of food and alcohol.
CHAOTIC DEMAND FOR MONEY: Then in the middle of my wedding reception they asked me for more money to purchase more alcohol. I was in my wedding dress, had guests to entertain, and of course did not have my wallet with me. Even still they demanded more money right then and there. They should have asked me AFTER my wedding. My guests were hungry, there were long wait times for drinks, and I had an owner shaking me down for more money. Their chaotic and embarrassing behavior made my day unnecessarily stressful.
UNPROFESSIONALISM: When I spoke with the owner to express my dissatisfaction and disappointment, she was dismissive and did not take any responsibility. In reply to their response below, I’ve reviewed my invoices and correspondences and see that Froelich’s response is not only unprofessional, but false and misleading. Again, after agreeing on a set menu, we paid EXACTLY what they asked. I am once again disappointed by Froelich’s 2 years later. Every anniversary I have, I am forced to think about how poorly we were treated on my wedding day. It’s a ruined memory.
I am also removing a star for their unprofessional handling of my review. My wedding guest, Brittney, reviewed Froelich’s giving them 2 stars. Andrew reached out to her privately to try and rectify the situation. Instead of affording me the same courtesy they reply inferring that their incompetence was my budget’s fault.
CONCLUSION: To any brides thinking of booking this venue…be cautious.

We came to Froehlich’s for the first time to enjoy lunch. We were so impressed that we returned for dinner. That was even more impressive, so we returned for breakfast the next day!
Anyone in business who wants to see how a restaurant and retail operation should be run needs to come take a look at Froehlich’s. Spotless facility where the employees are genuinely happy and work together to ensure total customer satisfaction. Seamless operation with absolute focus on delivering the best – and that’s exactly what they do. From the Trifecta Pepper Burger, to Cedar Planked Salmon, and the not to be missed Deconstructed Cinnamon Roll – excellence shines through in every dish. Lois, Andrew, Dave, Rhonda, and many others on both the restaurant and retail side were just great folks. It’s great to see happy employees in roles where they can shine. The quality comes through in every aspect of operations.
Also, if you’re a fan of the spicier side of life, ask Rhonda to make a Dirty Cajun for you. I can’t compare the taste to anything else…it is unique, delicious, and a little bit addictive.
We came to Three Oaks planning to wander and sample all the town had to offer. In terms of restaurant experience, we didn’t need to find anything else after discovering Froehlich’s. Simply great food, fantastic employees and a wonderful experience.
So of course, after lunch we strolled around the shop and marveled at the eye catching food, beverage and decor displays. We met Derek, the floor manager and he invited us to try some of their freshly made coffee from beans they roast on site. Wow! We definitely bought a bag of the coffee. And we then met the owner, Colleen Froelich. She was warm and gracious and took time out of her busy day to talk to us. Just a lovely experience all round! We’ll be back soon!
