Very authentic mexican food, the drinks are amazing it’s very easy to kill one of their mojito pitchers. The menu has a very wide selection of Breakfast lunch and dinner with so many options to choose from. The establishment is very clean all around and they do a great job of upkeep. This is a restaurant you can typically walk in and find open seating pretty quick it’s quite big on the inside with tons of mexican culture and decor. My wife from Mexico city loves the atmosphere it’s a little taste of home for her. We frequent quite often and always leave very happy .

For the price and flavors I give it 5 stars ⭐️ . They have friendly stuff (something rare to find these days) all the stuff is friendly, Christian was our waiter today . We were here last night for karaoke night and it was fun. I had a molcajete and it was bomb . We came back the next morning for breakfast and I wasn’t disappointed. They had real hashbrowns If you know what I mean, I had Chilaquiles and they were bomb Also the caldo 7 mares was delicious!

We rented the bar area for my husband and mother-in-law’s birthday party. It fit our 45 guests comfortably. They gave us a buffet option and had everything set up when we arrived. The food was delicious! They had waiters serving the food and getting drink orders for our guests as they arrived. We reserved the party for a Friday night and were able to participate in their karaoke night which was so fun! Overall, it was a great experience. I would recommend it for anyone planning a unique party or larger family gathering. They also had plenty of seating for guests on the regular side of the restaurant though it did fill up when karaoke started.

I had an incredible experience at this restaurant, where they bring the vibrant flavors of Mexico City to life with their authentic *fritangas*. Every bite was packed with bold, traditional flavors that transported me straight to the heart of CDMX. From perfectly seasoned meats to crispy, flavorful bites, this spot delivers on all fronts.

But the experience doesn’t stop at the food—the energy here is unbeatable! They also have some of the best karaoke in the Thornton area, making it the perfect place to enjoy amazing food while singing your heart out. Whether you’re here for the eats, the vibes, or both, this place is an absolute must-visit! ✨

This was my second time since they opened this location. The restaurant is a very huge location and has various seating areas like the way they decorated the place. The staff is super friendly and attentive. The food didn’t take long and was delicious almost perfect.

I order several small dishes and half order to try a variety.

1st ordered coffee and was great tasting and fresh.

2md ordered a soap Aztecs which to be honest had always been tempted but was hesitant questioning how great it could be.

They have a cup and bowl available I ordered a cup but it was a generous portion. I was amazed how delicious it was, the best I can describe is chicken Tonga in a broth which flavors were perfectly balanced and delicious.

I also ordered 2 tacos 1 Al pastor and 1 trips both of which were also delicious and not skimping. They are $3-3.5 each for these meats.

T3rd ordered half an order of molletes which are usually more of an appetizer and was the only item I felt could improve. While molletes don’t usually come with a meat you have the option so I opted for carne asada.

The carne asada used was quite juicy, tender and full of flavor.
My only gripes on these and feel could improve is the spread of beans on whole of roasted bread. Most of the edges were not covered. Also the bread didn’t seem to have any butter which usually provides that unique flavor between the bread, beans and butter that fuse so well together.
It also helps the bread to remain crispy and flavorful and not taste dried out. While the bread was good the toasted area got a little dry.

Besides that I would definitely recommend, they do an outstanding job and the menu is quite large with variety of dishes and desserts for various palettes.

I’ve always loved Fritangas since they started on alameda. The food is as wonderful as ever! I always stick with the fajitas as they’re my personal favorite, and they’ve never disappointed. They’re really great about substitutions as well, hence the beautiful mushrooms with the peppers and shrimp on my fajitas!

I really love how great the ambiance is at this location. So many great decorations, and I hear the owner did it all himself too, in addition to a lot of the cooking!

I highly recommend this place when you’re craving some incredible Mexican food! Hands down best in Colorado!

Watch out for mandatory “gratuity” on orders over 80$ not guests or food but on bill which is weird. It mightve said it on the menu idk but it didnt say it anywhere else.
Food is extremely mid and overpriced for what it is so adds salt to the wound of the forced gratuity
They also take extremely long.

My wife wanted to come here for Mother’s Day so we brought our family. We waited 45 minutes for our food to get to the table after we ordered. It took them 30 minutes to bring our drinks after asking for them twice. When they brought our drinks, they forgot the milk for my son. We had to ask them two additional times to bring the milk so my son may have something to drink. well, the food finally got to the table. My daughter’s quesadilla was basically with cheese that was falling out when she lifted it, not even melted. my son had a grilled cheese sandwich that was missing a quarter of the sandwich. My other daughter ordered a quesadilla and it was missing the guacamole and sour cream, my wife’s plate appeared to be fine. I ordered the number nine combo with a tamale a burrito with cicerones and a hard shell taco. I don’t know what kind of ground beef or beef they used for my taco, but it looks like something that came out of a can. It smelled like dog food, After finishing a tamale that was smaller than a Twinkie and undercooked with some kind of green beef inside or pork I started to eat the burrito and that’s when I found a hair when I bit my burrito. Our server David only customer service just wants that’s fine. I brought it to his attention that I found a hair in my food. we asked to have the kitchen staff make a new burrito. they didn’t make a new burrito they folded the side that I cut off when I found the hair, put it on the plate, and served me the original burrito that I found the hair in.
