Today was my first time trying Nicaraguan food, as my boyfriend is Nicaraguan, and I honestly couldn’t speak more highly of the experience – both the food and the atmosphere. Everything was delicious, the service was incredibly friendly, and my boyfriend could vouch for how authentic everything tasted. It was really special hearing him go down memory lane while we enjoyed our lunch together. An absolute must-try if you’re in the area, and well worth the drive if you’re not.

Authentic Nicaraguan food, everything was soo good I forgot to add extra cheese to my own plate(cerdo asado). I Took pictures of my husband’s he ordered the rib eye, it was good with the chimichurri. I can tell, the cheese is the bomb .

The amount of food it’s good for $17-$20, Gallo pinto was in the right point. Tajadas were crunchy

This Nicaraguan food truck’s Fritanga plate is pure comfort on a tray. Perfectly seasoned churrasco, juicy grilled chicken, tender pork, hearty rice and beans, crispy fried cheese, and sweet plantains — every bite hits.

Authentic, flavorful, and generously portioned. And very reasonably priced.

Wished I had taken a picture. Amazing meal. We ate the mix plate for 2 people where 3 or 4 people could have eaten. It was so big and delicious. It had the most delicious carne Adidas beef, roast pork, chicken, sausage, all seasoned to perfection. All with rice and beans (mixed), salad, plantains, fried cheese.. everything all amazing, just a great combo. Taking 1/2 meal home for dinner. The best latin food in the area, for a food cart in an outdoor place. Will be returning often. Parking can be a problem so try to go when not too busy.

The food is absolutely delicious, and the service is a solid 10/10! The owner was so kind and even recommended the popular Nicaraguan drink, cacao which was amazing. Everything we tried was flavorful, and they even have a delicious homemade spicy sauce to go with your meal. Truly a must try spot!

Finally, a place that truly lives up to the name of a real Nicaraguan fritanga! We ordered the carne asada plate with gallo pinto, and it did not disappoint—plenty of food for two, with perfectly grilled meat that had that unmistakable al carbon flavor. We also tried the quesillo, which was fresh and delicious, and the Cacao drink was rich and absolutely on point.
To top it off, we had the pleasure of being among the first to try their upcoming pinchos—juicy, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. We’ll definitely be back. If you’re craving authentic Nica food, this spot is a must. Come hungry and leave happy!.
