Really nice and authentic Nicaraguan spot here in Central Florida. We had a native Nicaraguan in our group. We ordered a few different types of asada; mine was beef and pork. The portions were generous and definitely fill you up. The plate comes with meat, rice and beans, fried plantain chips, a thick grilled slice of cheese, and a side salad. The meat was tender and delicious.

The food itself is good, very expensive but good, $100 for a family of four and we didn’t all get drinks and two kids shared a plate.
The three stars are because of the service, the young lady at the register is rude, she has zero solutions to anything that comes up and she had an AirPod in her ear, I had to repeat myself several times to her, asking for their drink selection seemed to bother her as she pointed out sizes in a rude demeanor l, any question seemed to bother her. When we asked for salad on the side for the tacos, she said that the cook was new and she didn’t think he’d understand what we meant by salad with the cream and ketchup on the side. It is not difficult to communicate that to her co worker, The cook himself was really sweet, good service and a smile as we approached the window but this young lady at the register does not need to be the forefront of the eatery. Customers service makes all the difference in restaurants. The food would be worth the price if the service was up to par.

The way the owner responds to any form of constructive criticism is arrogant, you have a business, learn to accept constructive criticism. No one as attacking your place of business, it’s a review.

I got a Tamarindo Juice and it was terrible. The Juice tasted like had gone bad or was a week old. When I told the staff, the lady said there’s nothing she can do and only offered to replace it with another cup of the same jug! I bought over $100 in food and they could not refund the $7 juice which was bad. Terrible customer service.

The owner’s reply shows how little they care about customer feedback. We definitely will not be coming back.

The food was delicious very authentic Nicaraguan food. I tried the cerdo asado con gallopinto queso frito y madurito. My daughter and husband ate carne asada with gallopinto queso frito y tajadas.
We liked the place and the food, we will be coming back to try other dishes.
I wish them the best …

If you’re looking for authentic Nicaraguan food in Orlando, Fritanga Managüita is the real deal. This place is a hidden gem for anyone craving home-style Nica cooking — and their carne asada is absolutely on point.
The meat was perfectly grilled, tender, and full of smoky, savory flavor. Paired with classic gallo pinto, crispy queso frito, every bite hit like a taste of home. The portions are generous, and the prices are more than fair for the quality and amount of food you get.
The vibe is casual and friendly, like a neighborhood spot where regulars come in knowing exactly what they want. The staff is efficient and helpful –
Whether you’re Nicaraguan or just want to try something different, Fritanga Managüita serves up some of the best carne asada in town. Highly recommend stopping by hungry — you won’t leave disappointed.

The food alone is delicious but expensive. On top of that they charge a card fee for not using cash and finally to add to the bill even more they charge 1% more in sales tax than it should be in Orlando. I have no idea if that is illegal but sales tax in Orlando is 6.5% and as you can see on my reciept from today they charge 7.5% sales tax in Orlando. So my already expensive $21 carne asada from a food truck style establishment total came out to $23.48 not including tip.

It took me 40 minutes to get there, but it was worth it! The food was delicious, with a great taste and a good portion size. Friendly staffing. I would definitely come back for more.

I drove 2 hours for this and spent $70. I regret NOTHING it was amazing, The cashier first of all was so nice and answered all my dumb questions the snacks I bought were definitely from Nicaragua I got the exact taste of home I’ve been missing :’) some people may complain about the location but who cares? They are in an extremely cozy closed off spot away from anything bad. 10/10 I would go again and spend even more
