Partially my fault because I didn’t look it up but I was expecting to cook our own food, so when they came out with the tea candles over an aluminum foil I was a little surprised. However the food didn’t make up for it. The tofu skin skewers were not prepared well, wet dripping with marinade and cold. Tasted funky too. The lamb skewers were okay but still cold. I tend to like my lamb skewers cooked well so it would have been nice to be asked how I like it. Sides like the vinegared potatoes were too sweet. All and all I will not be returning. Wish them the best tho.

I’ve been passing by this place in Boston and NYC but never went in. I was in the area so decided to give it a try.
When you enter, the vibe was cool and chill. The atmosphere is amazing and place is clean. I was always met with a smile from the waiter throughout the whole dining experience.
We ordered a bunch of different skewers, grilled oysters and scallops, scallion pancake, yellow crocker, and the skewer rice.
I’m not really a fan of spicy food and let me tell you, my mouth was on fire. But…. it was an interesting sensation. I didn’t hate it. Odd. Maybe I even enjoyed it. Definitely an interesting moment where I get to meet a whole new side of me.
So, yes, I am enjoyed it fully and love it!

To celebrate my friend’s birthday, we gathered an internationally diverse group of 10, all of whom were enchanted by the exotic and mouthwatering flavors. For many, it was the first time they had tasted such authentic Chinese cuisine, and the food was so good that we practically inhaled it! Every dish was a visual and sensory delight, beautifully presented and bursting with flavor. The experience was unforgettable.
I also want to highlight the exceptional service we received. Shelley (I hope I’m spelling that right), was incredibly sweet, gentle, and graceful. Despite our group arriving without a reservation, she quickly and calmly made room for us, creating a peaceful and comforting ambiance that set the tone for a wonderful evening. I had the chance to speak with her briefly, and I was touched by how endearing and sweet she was—truly embodying the warmth of Chinese hospitality.
Kevin, our waiter, along with a gentleman with glasses who was busy attending to the kitchen, served us with efficiency and care. The food arrived promptly and was at the perfect temperature for all of us. Kevin was gracious and pleasant throughout the night, and a special moment occurred when my girlfriend spoke to him in Cantonese, adding an exquisite touch to our evening.

Friendship BBQ is a Chinese skewer restaurant located right outside of Packard’s Corner.
Staff are friendly and explain the process well. They’re very knowledgeable on recommendations and can help whenever needed.
The food is good. We got a wide variety of skewers, as well as a few appetizers. The skewers were flavorful, not too gamey but of a good and consistent quality. The price is a bit high for the portions they give, but not too outrageous.

Came around 3pm on a Sunday as a party of two and was seated right away. We ordered online via QR code and started getting our food shortly after, since we were the only ones there for a little bit.
We ordered way too much, but my favorite dish has to be the Dan Dan Noodles. The cold noodles and sauce were the perfect companion to all the skewers we ordered. I’m not really a meat eater so it all kinda blended together, but each one I had tasted good and had a good texture! I also enjoyed the green beans and corn, which were seasoned really well.
Would definitely come back! The atmosphere is casual and the food is yummy.

I like this location of Friendship BBQ than the one I went to in PA. The sauce was not as sweet. I like that they had the seasoning on the table if you wanted to add some additional spices . Our favorites were the lamb and beef sticks .

The serving team was very busy running around trying to serve the diners and takeout orders. They missed one of our items, but brought it out quickly upon request.

Nice place. The lamb skewers are good and the beef is alright. The skewers come with less than expected portions (2 pieces). Could be better for the price but I like the flavour.
