Such a beautiful surprise this restaurant! We were on our way to Cape Cod from NY and we decided to stop at this restaurant for dinner. It is very well rated (so we imagined it would be good) but we couldn’t expect such warm welcome, such good food and service! The outdoor sitting is very cute (with candles, flowers,etc.). The waitress and the owner always made sure we had a great experience. Food is also really good. Not just the food itself but also the way it is presented in the plates. On top of that, it’s not even expensive, actually pretty cheap for what we ate. We loved this place and we will stop there again on our way back to NY! I highly recommend this restaurant!

During my recent visit to this restaurant, I was so pleasantly surprised at their hospitality. The manager and staff opened their restaurant 30 minutes early for our group to come in and celebrate a gathering for a colleague. They even typed up an appetizer menu that was reflective of our group population. What a lovely touch and extremely personalized! While they do not have a large amount of appetizers to order from, they did create 2 for us on that day and the drinks were consistent and of good quality. Without hesitation, I would go back to this location to partake in drinks after work.

I can’t believe it took so long to discover this place! Very cute and cozy atmosphere, I will look forward to dining out on the patio during slightly cooler weather. Customer service was good, prompt, had a slight wait to be seated. The food was absolutely fantastic. I had tuna tartar and my husband had the eggplant roasted red pepper soup and both were an amazing start to the meal. The balance of flavor in my tartar was first class. For dinner I ordered the special which was eggplant lasagna paired with grilled squash and garlic steamed spinich. It was amazing from start to finish. My husband had the fish and chips, which he was satisfied with, but was extremely jealous of my plate. We had an excellent meal here, and we will definitely be coming back to enjoy more.

It was our first time and what a surprise. Food was delicious but the service was amazing. They live up to their name. Friends, and that is how we were welcomed and what we experienced through the entire dinner. I haven’t stopped talking about it. Can’t wait to go back and the 30 minute drive is worth it. Great for families to gather too.

Passed by this restaurant for years, always wanting to stop in for dinner. I should not have waited so long! My dinner was delicious, and the portions were good size, too. Our waitress was awesome, making excellent suggestions for dinner, and always right there when needed! Definitely recommend, and will be back.

We had dinner on their outside patio, it was beautiful & breezy. The waitress was so pleasant and the food absolutely delicious. Greg the owner was very friendly and nice and wanted to make sure we were enjoying ourselves . I should’ve taken pictures of the meals, they were fabulous and the dessert being amazing! It was their Mud Pie.

My husband & I are visiting Ct. from North Carolina. We decided to eat @ F&C. What a pleasant surprise. If you’re looking for a low key place to dine, this is it. They make their own bread. The food is fresh and wholesome. The service (Sara ) was attentive without being obtrusive. Light Jazz music playing in the background. They also display Art from local artist. CONGRATULATIONS TO THE OWNERS !!!

I visited this restaurant for dinner with my wife and we ordered a Spec Salmon and Goat CH Spec, It was delicious and tasty also we ordered desert called MUD PIE, it’s amazing and delicious. The staff was friendly and helpful. We spend a great night and we will back again in the future.
