Chilidog is a gem in New Rochelle. Located right across from the metro, it’s both a convenient and delicious treat. A few of my favorites there are the chili dog, hot dog, sausage, and 1/4 pollo. The restaurant is definitely worth stopping by, you won’t regret it!

I absolutely love this place The food is amazing they’ve got such great hot dogs burgers and rotisserie chicken as well as the number of other things. It’s great to eat there at the counter to call in your order to pick up to go I have never gone wrong eating there. The city of New Rochelle on the other hand doesn’t care what they do to people’s businesses when they do construction in front of it it’s hard to get to his restaurant now due to the construction and Lord only knows when they’ll finish cuz we all know construction workers like to take their sweet time to get as much money as they can. It might take a little bit of extra time to get there but it’s so worth it please support this local business The food is amazing.

First off no parking for at least a block in either direction.

Chicken was great. Rice was really good.

Chili had so much black pepper in it, it was almost unbearable. At least the melted cheese made it bearable. Also the chili was just ground beef, no beans and ut looked burnt or scraped from the bottom of the pot.

Even Wendy’s chili is better than this

A nice effort of a chili dog. The chili is more of a spices than actual chili. Was very hungry waiting for a train, so it was a nice fill while waiting. They grilled everything fresh and in front of you, which is nice. Cheap and decently priced. Staff was friendly.

Never knew I was a weenie lover until I stepped foot inside this restaurant. Jose is the owner and this guy is full of friendliness and excitement!

I have a habit of ordering the same dish when I visit, here it is:

2 sausages with sauerkraut
1 order of French fries
1 salad
1 iced tea.

They have about 6 different types of hot sauce from extremely flavorful and mild, all the way to the brain sizzler.

As a huge fan of hidden gems and hole-in-the-walls, I’m happy that downtown New Rochelle has it’s own at Chili Dog! Nothing beats sitting down at the counter for hot crispy fries and a savory chili cheese dog. 10/10
