Had breakfast at this location on 12/7. Me my wife and are two small children went there because me and the Mrs wanted to try breakfast. When we walked it in nobody was really there so we waited a few minutes and someone came up. Not a good morning or how you are doing just how many and she seated us at a both. Waitress name was Cindy she seemed a bit annoyed with us. She came back a few minutes later took out or brought our drinks but did not try to make conversation with us. She went to her other tables chatted then up but stayed away form ours. My daughter got pancakes and asked for sausage but she got bacon and we didn’t bother speaking up because Cindy seemed like she didn’t want to deal with us. Half way through the meal she just threw the check at our table while we were eating. She went got up to cash out she said she take the money and cash us out asked if we needed change I told her no. Minute I gave her a tip she changed her attitude. But after this whole experience I would not recommend anyone to go there. We’re from out of town and come to Harrisburg/ Hershey park once in a great while and go me we were just a burden even being in that place. If I could give zero stars for service I would.

My friend and I were very excited to eat breakfast at this Friendlys location, because I had an appointment at High Point Commons. Anyway, we walk in we stopped at the pamphlets to pick out a few, however before we could pick out a few a face pops up from around the corner, and a lady said 2 so we left the pamplets without getting any. We were not greeted with any kind smile, or how r u folks today, no greeting whatsoever. Then asked if we wanted a booth or table. Before we answered the older lady slamned 2 rolls of silverware on the booth table and walked away. Finally her and her trainee approach and took my male frienda order 1st. With no smile no eye contact no offers of breakfast specials, still no greeting, then my order. She brings him his coffe that was a 1/2 cup of cold coffee. We couldnt get her attention for a while. Then she passes by my friend is trying to tell her the coffe is cold as she’s passing she turns around and says I’ll bring more without stopping at our booth. 20-25 minutes later the trainee brings our food with all of her hair hanging in front of her shoulders while her hair is resting in my plate. Immediatly I told her I do not want that plate because your hair is resting in my food. The trainer comes over asks what the problem is, I told her and less than 5 minutes later she brings me another plate. Before I could say Thank u she blurted out, oh and it’s not the same plate, she made it special. I said Thank u and lo and behold if the food was not hot it was cold and my butter wouldn’t even melt. So I took about 2 bites and tossed my napkin on my plate scooted my plate over and my appatite was soon gone. Not once did they check on us, smile or opologize. I wasn’t charged for my plate. In all Friendly’a was a horrible horrible experience. Nothing friendly about it, and to make it worse Friendlys was not even busy. My table, and 2 other tables during lunch. No tip and no return.

I came here at 2 order off the lunch special but was charged the full 15.00 for a Cobb salad when I told them hey it’s during the lunch special after they seen me order off it they said well you have to tell them upfront say it to them, I asked if ya had any special the waitress said no, yet the lunch special for the Cobb salad with a side was 9.99 and I showed the guy what I wanted, so instead of ya correcting the issue they said well, oh well you need to say this at the beginning, well I did, but ok I still got my food and that’s that, but good customer service when a customer walks in and you want their business would say hey here this and that we have available today would you like to try instead of throwing them a menu, and you ask they say no yet you see it order it and then say oh well

I’m a Friendly’s alum (and former trainer) and today I was so proud of our server Jazzmine. She gave our large party of 8 absolutely perfect service. She was personable, efficient, very helpful, and our experience will be a great memory to end our family road trip. She’s truly an incredible asset.
Also, I was so happy to see the tuna melt back. We miss Friendly’s in Maryland!

Good food and service. Was shown to our table as soon as we walked in. Very considerate staff checking in often, refilling our drinks and making sure we are all happy. A great place for family with a bright and welcoming atmosphere. Will come back again.

Didn’t have a great experience today, usually don’t write reviews but kind of had a bad experience. The waitress me and my family had was kind of rude. Seemed to have an attitude, asked if we would like a box and then she threw it down at the table. Seemed like she was annoyed or something. (The whole time) Maybe having a bad day, but felt that was very unprofessional. Food was pretty good though

We love Friendly’s so much! The food was fast and good. Sundaes were delicious! Our server Darita D was wonderful- attentive and professional. She lived up to the Friendly’s name! Highly recommend.

How ironic she works at a restaurant named Friendly. Sadly, she served us, barely. Never checked if we needed anything. Zero interaction. Forget refills, they come so late and you’ll have to ask. Not busy and there were other servers who were working this shift. UnFriendly for sure.
