I had one of the most uncomfortable and disappointing dining experiences I’ve ever had at the Friendly’s in Coram.
I went with my son, who is very picky with food, and my sister accompanied us for dinner. I ordered two kids’ meals and one adult meal. While I was eating, my sister was helping feed my son and took one bite of the chicken. I noticed the waitress staring at us repeatedly, but I didn’t think much of it at the time.
At the end of the meal, when the waitress came to take our ice cream orders, I told her I wanted to take the two kids’ meal ice creams to go. She then loudly told me that I was only allowed one ice cream because my sister had taken a bite of the chicken. I was completely shocked. Never in my life have I experienced something like this.
She said this so loudly that other guests were looking over at us, which was extremely embarrassing. After seeing my reaction, she seemed to realize how inappropriate it was and then tried to insist she would give us both ice creams. At that point, I was so uncomfortable that I told her to just give me one and I would take it to go.
When I went to pay, she told me she was “only doing the right thing,” which made the situation even worse.
I’ve been going to Friendly’s since I was a little kid, and I have never been treated this way before. This experience was humiliating and unnecessary, and because of it, I will never return to this location.

The workers and service was great it’s friendly’s system sucks ……. I was trying to figure out how my bill came to $40 when I only ordered two $7.99 kids meals and my meal cost $14.99 ? The waitress tried to assure me that all the extra charges that was on my receipt or then deducted and it’s just a funny way that friendly’s billing goes because they want to show you how much money you’re saving! When in all actuality friendly’s is overcharging and at the same time trying to convince you that you’re saving money. And you may think that $5 is not a lot of money it’s not that big of a deal, but this was our third time at friendly’s this week……. So imagine how many customers they’re doing that too. How much money did they really get from us? friendly’s is my children’s favorite place to eat! All I’m saying is check your receipts

When I arrived to pick up my Uber Doreash order, the employees were unhelpful, delivered late, and were very irresponsible. I am complaining about all of them and have canceled both orders. This situation is damaging your corporate image. Please review your delivery personnel.

Great service clean restaurant Matt went out of his way to make sure that we were accommodated. Very busy and as workers were coming in they were all helping out with a smile great atmosphere of team work. Great to see.

I like to take my 4 year old daughter here. She loves it. And this time of the year is the best to come. I am not the biggest on there style meals but right now they have a lobster roll so there’s a good food choice for me. My daughter loves getting the kids meal with the ice cream. Always a fun time for her.
