The standards that were drilled into me when I was a server for Friendly’s must have gotten relaxed over the years. Food was consistent with what you expect. However timing and pace of meal were horrible. Gave me so much time that I’m actually posting this review as I wait almost 20 minutes for 3 sundaes. 1 of 4 tables in restaurants would hate to see what wait times if it was busy. As I didn’t see a manager on duty, I see why Friendly’s is not the go to family diner it once was. I’d be happy to come train your staff, with my 25 years in the industry if you’d be so inclined

Idk why people are giving them such low rating. I walked in and they treated me like they knew me all they life. Very personable and I love when people have a uplifting spirit. The host was a delight and needs a raise. They make and took my order quickly I was in and out. If that doesn’t deserve a 5 stars idk what does!

Ordered from GrubHub for family breakfast but was surprised to get updates from Friendly’s that our breakfast was made to order so quickly! Did not have to wait long at all. And on a weekend no less. The food also was very tasty. I will definitely be ordering again in the near future!

Food was good however the customer service was the worst possible. Server was flat out ignorant maybe said 5 words to us the whole time and had to find him to get a soda refill and to pay. Dropped the food at the table and never saw him again. Get better service at a McDonald’s Drive Thru.

In house was as expected, lil slow, mediocre food, but they screwed up my togo order. Do you really not know the difference between a Turkey club and a melt??? Now I have a soggy cold grilled cheese to suffer through when I clearly ordered a club sandwich. I was starting to hate Friendly’s in recent years as it is, thought I’d give it another chance…. You’d think in NJ, the dinner capital of the world, you’d at least try to do better.

I’ve not been to a Friendlies in years so it was a trip down Nostalgia Lane for me. Atmosphere hasn’t changed at all which was like coming home again. Not sure if it was an off day but the food could have been a little bit better. Don’t get me wrong it was edible, just didn’t have the taste it did before.

I don’t know why I keep trying this place. I got a Mac and cheese cheeseburger, and honestly, it was lousy. Hardly any meat and seriously like 5 tiny macaroni pieces of Mac and cheese. Ice cream was decent, so I gave a second star. The only reason I will ever come back is if the kids want ice cream.
