Chicken balls where under cooked
Spare ribs had no sauce and looked like they were frozen and re heated.
Sesame seed chicken was barely sauced

I’ve been coming here since it was the seven seas restaurant. Always been my goto for Chinese food, always can tell when new owners take over but never that bad. This is by most the worst cooked food from this restaurant. Chicken balls were not cooked very doughy, the noodles used to be so good now a complete different color and no flavor at all. The lemon chicken was under cooked and doughy also. The rice was not fried tasted like it was boiled and no flavor. I am not going back, this isn’t the first time the quality was very poor since these new owners took over. I will give a free pass on one bad experience but when it’s worse than the first time going with these owners, I am not going back spend my money elsewhere!

We received wrong items and a missing item- they did not correct the wrong item as for the missing item they said they would give it to us on our next order- definitely not the way to do business. The food itself was very sweet and all items tasted the same. Definitely will not be a returning customer.

Quite possibly the worst Chinese food I’ve ever had in my life. The food is terrible and wasnt full, the service was awful, we had to ASK FOR SILVERWARE!!! Ordered an ice tea and never got it. I understand being busy but now its terribly managed $24.99+tax, spend it elsewhere!!!

Im assuming there are new owners because the quality of food has gone way down. I ordered honey garlic spare ribs and I have never seen anything that looked like that before, they looked undercooked almost like they were steamed. The sauce was just water and tasteless. A few hours later I had the worst stomach pains and ended up in the bathroom multiple times. Ill never be back.

We love fried rice. Maybe about a year ago my wife and I stopped getting food at Friendly Restaurant. Another restaurant in town made better tasting fried rice for a similar price, so we switched over to them and didn’t think about Friendly restaurant anymore. The other day, we felt like trying Friendly again. Very interesting points to make – first, the usual Chinese/Asian staff were not there – looked to be completely Westerners/Caucasian – not a big deal, happy to see that – friendly too – weren’t short with me like the Chinese staff usually are. You’ll almost never see that in places like Toronto. We ordered the Chopsuey which was perfect… We also ordered the fried rice… Big mistake… What happened to the fried rice, guys? It didn’t look or even taste like it was fried… It almost seemed… Baked? The food was still edible so we had our dinner and I’m not looking for any freebies – I’m not a Karen like that – just surprised at how strange the fried rice seemed. Pics attached. I would even say the fried rice today tasted worse than when we first switched away from Friendly restaurant. I’m a bit of an Asian cook myself, and I make fried rice at home sometimes – I know what fried rice, cooked in a hot wok looks like. This did not look like it had been in a wok. It looked baked… Anyway, we’ll probably switch away from Friendly again for another year and try it again to see if there are any changes/improvements to the quality of the fried rice. We aren’t putting Friendly down – just concerned – did you replace the cook in the kitchen? Why is the fried rice so bland and looking baked? Fried rice is supposed to have some light charring, shiny from the oil involved and a golden brown colour from the soy sauce used in the cooking process. 2 stars for the friendly staff and the good chopsuey… lost 3 stars for the strange tasting fried rice.

This was probably the worst Chinese food I ever had, the sichwan beef was disgusting, no flavor whatsoever, the lemon chicken was basically chicken balls with the sauce on them and not on the side, also nasty.. we also ordered veggie fried rice and that was bland no flavor the chicken low mein had vegetables that were rotten inside it and had a very strange smell we did not eat that.. I do not recommend eating here it was a huge waste of money

I’d rather starve then eat here again. Food has no flavor. If a tray is empty it stays that way. I have no positives. You’re better off eating your cash then eating the food here.

Ordered 3 dishes for delivery, Cantonese chow mein, chicken balls and chicken vegetable almonds. The noodles in the Cantonese chow mein were only partly cooked and the other 2 dishes were so so. Will be throwing it all in the garbage, waste of $60. Won’t be ordering from here again and would not recommend.
