We went on a Sunday for playoff games and the place had a high energy, game day atmosphere. There are plenty of TVs, and an announcer on a mic keeping the crowd engaged. They ran a bingo game at halftime to benefit a local food bank and had raffle tickets for jerseys.
The beer was cold with a decent variety on tap, and the service was friendly and attentive despite how busy it was.
We ordered the Irish nachos, which are made with house made kettle chips instead of fries or corn chips. They were unique, crisp, and hearty. A bit salty, but that actually paired well with the beer.
We also had the extra hot wings. They were very tasty with a crunchy coating and a nice heat level. I only wish they were served with celery or carrot sticks.
Overall, this is solid pub food in a lively sports bar atmosphere. We will definitely be back for the Super Bowl.

We have a family of 6. My husband, myself two teenagers, a middle schooler, and one in elementary. We’ve been coming here for years. We visited today with our two youngest. I was so disappointed! Service was okay.. 6/10. We sat there for about 10 minutes before anyone notice us. Server forgot my orange for my beer, so I went to the bar. The bartender was disgusting, obviously she’s there because she hands out free drinks. She’s not well groomed, horrible attitude, and has zero customers service! Bar was absolutely disgusting! Not clean, fruit tray had mold, bugs and flies all round. We ordered 20 claws. They came out burt! I hate complaining, but my children could barely eat them. They took them back and in 2 minutes had “new ones” cooked. They were the exact same ones! Kitchen staff look ungroomed, no hair nets, hats or gloves. Health inspector needs to visit! I work in hospitality and will definitely be making a call! Place is just a dump. It’s not clean, tables are all dirty, condiment holders are disgusting, chairs are sticky, food lacks taste. Worst part is the management doesn’t care. I don’t recommend! Stay away! Paid $85 for 20 burnt claws, a burger, 3 sodas, a beer, and a dessert that was missing the other part of it!

Me and my son ate here tonight. The food and service was barely adequate. I got up to use the restroom and stepped on a piece of meat from a previous patron. Yuck! I then noticed that under the table was disgusting with food all over the floor. I cringed. I told one of the waitresses who said they had not gotten a chance to clean up from the previous guest. Inexcusable. Then why were we permitted to sit at the table. Thats total dysfunction. I don’t think I have ever seen a floor that gross in a restaurant. I suggest checking under your table if you eat here.

Friendly Confines is a basic sports pub/restaurant that has a bar, lots of high tops and lots of TVs. The atmosphere is very casual and they do ask that you keep your language “clean” since kids do frequent this establishment.
Their Thursday specials were interesting however they were only good if you ordered drinks.
Service was a little slow. It was mildly busy, still plenty of open tables and you can pick where you want to sit. It took 40 min from the time we entered to get our food.
We ordered the Turkey bacon sandwich and chicken wrap. They both come with one side. The food did take a while. The portions were good. Both sandwiches were tasty. The fries with the turkey sandwich were just warm and a bit limp. The fries for the wrap were hot and firm. These are supposed to be “seasoned” fries. Not sure if any seasoning was used. My guess is one basket was ready well before the other and we had to wait for fresh fries for the other basket. Sheriff Dave of the Fry Police is issuing a warning.
This was trivia night. The guys up front were playing with the Volume of the speakers a bit much. You’d think they would know by now the appropriate volume levels and have it marked. Once that “playtime” was over the general volume of the restaurant was fine and the trivia contest was not overwhelming.
Cost of food was a little high but the quantity was good. Wings looked very expensive. Their PoS system does suggest tip amounts and they do calculate them correctly on the subtotal before tax, that’s a plus!

Went there for Bears Monday night football for my friends to enjoy . We had a blast . Pitchers and buckets of beer where well chilled and wings with variety of spices were extremely palatable. Only downside was 40min Ride to get there but that’s on me! Would definitely visit again . Kudos to Sara who cared at our table and bartended. Awesome .

I coach at Lake Mary little league and we often go to Friendly Confines but last evening we were scolded by the waitress that we needed to call in advance.There were tables open and room for seating both inside and outside I don’t see the need to reprimand your patrons… totally unacceptable maybe we should patronize another restaurant

Love watching Bears games here! Great energy. The TVs are well placed so you can see multiple games at once. They do giveaways and bingo at halftime. The food is good and service is friendly. Makes me feel like I’m back in the Midwest.
