Brought the family for dinner after seeing a tik tok about the singing servers. They were so incredibly talented! Food was fast and delicious. Burgers were perfect and the fries didnt taste too herby. Our picky eater gobbled them up. Prices were incredibly reasonable for nyc dining. Location was clean, staff friendly and accommodating. Nake advance reservations and have a milkshake, theyre incredible!

We were craving some comfort food so decided to walk-in for brunch without reservations on a Saturday. The restaurant is pretty big, so even in the busy Times Sq. area we managed to get a table within 15 minutes.
Drop coffee ($6), Chicken Chilaquiles ($24), Grilled Cheese ($24), and Blueberry Pancakes ($21) is what our order consisted of. Food overall was inline with expectations, although paying $24 for grilled cheese felt a bit too much.
Portion sizes were perfect and service was really quick. Food arrived within 10 minutes of placing our order. Noise levels on the lower end and was easy to have conversation. Friendly staff who ensured we had an overall pleasant experience!

I’ve eaten here several times as they have SO many options that are gluten free (and you’d never know by the taste).
Favorite items:
– korean wings
– spinach dip
– veggie dumplings
– grilled cheese & tomato soup
will return whenever I’m in the city

Grabbed some quick comfort food on a cold NYC day. Chose grilled cheese with tomato soup and a hot chocolate. The grilled cheese has a great mix of cheese on thick and delicious bread. The tomato soup was great for dipping (sorry of plain otherwise). The hot chocolate was an absolute work of art and among the best I’ve ever had. Great location, friendly staff, and nice atmosphere, right next to Times Square. Highly recommend the hot chocolate!

We were informed by the host upon arrival that we would need to sit at the bar in order to dine in because there was supposed to be a large group that was going to take over the entire seated area in the restaurant. We spent nearly 2 hours dining at the bar and the restaurant tables remained empty/large group never arrived. Just seemed a little strange.
That aside, our servers/bartenders were great! I was offered a sample of the agua frescas that was not on the menu. I ended up going with the Herbal Bloom mocktail and the French Onion Steak Sandwich with fries. This is the third Friedman’s location I have dined at, and I must say I was underwhelmed by the food and beverage here. The mocktail mostly tasted like flavored water and the steak sandwich was VERY tough. For me, the fries were the best part.
But I would come back and try something else. I do appreciate so many gluten-free options

Used our voucher from our stay with Hotel Edison. $6.50 per person and you pick out of there selection. We’re not huge eaters and often have left overs so we thought, “Hey, let’s try it. If we’re still hungry, we’ll order more”. Definitely delicious. Portion was more than enough!

The restaurant was quite noisy and it made it hard to hear each other at our table. The food was over all good but the service was not the best. A reservation is highly recommended we wait 45 mins for a table for 8 and was sat at 2 separate booths, where we not able to communicate with each other. She forgot the instructions for our order and was quite rude. She only came to the table 3 times to take the orders bring the drinks and get the check.

great gluten free food next to times square. the chain is well known to be gluten-free pioneer and indeed the pastrami sandwich and burger were awesome. Safe go to place for gluten free food!

The spinach dip and chicken sandwich were great. Matzo soup very flavorful. Carrot cake didn’t have enough carrot nor spice. Which is not the end of the world but they do boast “famous” desserts. I don’t regret ordering it because we got to sit for 3 more songs. The entertainment was fantastic. If you enjoy Broadway and musicals you’ll love it. Make a reservation though.
