We ate here a couple years ago and I have been thinking about it ever since. We are finally back and the Salmon Clam Chowder is just as delicious as I remembered. My husband ordered the Cod and we shared the Prawns. My kids got the burgers. Everything was very tasty. And Nick was super friendly and helpful with suggestions for things to do on island. My only complaint is that it’s sooo far away from where I live.

We ate dinner here on the roof top bar. Placed order with the bartender and food came out within 20 mins. The view overlooks the harbor across the street from the ferry. The tacos had a lot of shrimp but lacking in taste. Best to come here for drinks and view.

This place had the best meal of our 2 night trip. The cod tacos and fish and chips were delicious! They also had some good drinks and the best view on the upper deck to watch the float planes land, boats drive by and the ferry. If you need a spot to wait for the ferry, this is a great spot! I will definitely make sure I stop here on all future trips to Friday Harbor! There is also a cute shop and I bought some cute jewelry and pins.

The food was ok. The views of the harbor were good . Very close to the ferry terminal. The service was fast. They close at 7 pm on weekdays.

Great location, overlooking the harbor. The crab cake was one of the worst I’ve ever had and the blue cheese on the salad was fairly tasteless.

Everything was great- the service, the food, the fun vibe! Prices reasonable! I had a great quality salad, with yummy garlic bread, and the smoked salmon chowder was delicious!

It was disappointing. One little piece of fish, two shrimp on the captain’s plate, descent amount of clams and fries.

Never had a $40 lunch with a plastic fork…it was good years ago, but my last trip here

Food is good, there are no complaints I can think of regarding it.

My main gripe is the location itself and a lack of upkeep. Don’t get me wrong, it’s a great spot, awesome view. The issue is everything feels sticky? The floor, the tables, the chairs. What could be a cool area to eat is kinda dampened by the cheap plastic tables and chairs that could be either power washed or preferably tossed. I understand it is almost entirely an outside location, so protecting your equipment like tables, chairs, and the building itself from the bipolar Washington weather is definitely not easy.

Since writing this, my last visit went down as such: We went up, and ordered our food before sitting down at one of the outdoor plastic tables, located at the bottom of the wall where the bar lays atop (important). We get our food, it’s good, our server is nice, however as we eat a question is asked, “Is it starting to rain?” Now, it was raining, but not the regular precipitation you would expect. It just so happened that another customer, seated along the railing which towered over us and our table, had spilled a drink, which had begun to slowly drip and splatter on some of the decorations that cover the wall above us, before sprinkling onto the table.

Now, is this anyone fault? Not really, could it have been prevented by anyone working that day? No, but I think it should be common sense to have some sort of awning under a location where people eat.

I sincerely promise that there is no ill will in this review, and I am not disgruntled over what happened, I am merely attempting to give feedback on what I experienced

Like others before me, I love this place, no frills, you find your table, order at bar and servers will bring to your table. The food is good, location is excellent overlooking the Friday harbor. And best of all they are dog friendly! We’ve been coming here for years and the service and food remain reason to return!

Waited for first day opening and were excited when we saw the menu. The waiter didn’t know what rockfish was when we asked. We got the info from the cashier? downstairs. Ordered rockfish, grilled prawns, and a dozen oysters.
Got the oysters and asked for lemon and crackers. The waiter literally came back with ONE lemon on napkin and a bag of oyster crackers. I even said, l”one lemon?” and he laughed never to be heard from again. Sent an email to restaurant. Absolutely basic.
