One of the Best Pizzas I’ve Ever Had – Totally Unexpected
We weren’t sure what to expect heading into Philipsburg—it’s small, and this place is a little off the main street. Honestly, we almost turned around. I’m so glad we didn’t.
This spot is a local institution, recently taken over by a local family who’s continuing the tradition after 16 years under the previous owners. They’re still using a 52-year-old oven, and the results speak for themselves. The pizza was absolutely incredible—crispy, flavorful, and clearly made with care.
If you find yourself anywhere near Philipsburg, make the detour. It’s worth it.

Friday Night Pizza is one of our three favorite pizza joints, with locations in Spokane, Coeur d’Alene, and here. All three are very different, which makes them fun in their own way.
What really sets FNP apart is the crust. Their house-made crust is stiff and chewy, no soggy mess in the middle, and it holds up perfectly to the toppings. And those toppings are solid, generous, and thoughtfully chosen.
The fact that they’ll deliver straight to the Philipsburg Brewery just seals the deal. Great pizza, great beer, no effort. Hard to beat.

Some of the best pizza I have ever had in my life. Hand tossed right in front of you. Perfect amount of toppings. It’s like they looked into my soul to find what I loved. Some of the nicest people I’ve ever ran into. Fantastic atmosphere. Small place to eat and watch the magic happen right in front of your eyes. Outside bench for waiting, or perhaps even eating. I would definitely recommend this pizza to anybody going through the Philipsburg area. Do yourself a favor and check this place out.

Omg, what a treasure or gem this little mom and pop pizzeria is. Modeled after a New York style artesian crafted pizza this pizza ranks as one of the top 3 pizzas in Montana. The photo is 1/2 hams and cheeses and 1/2 Mouthful (Red sauce, mozzarella, pepperoni, sausage, mushrooms, roasted red peppers, roasted garlic, gorgonzola, & jalapeño sparks.)

Laundry Mat Review! Top right dryer pumped $1.00 quarters into and made a loud noise, took pictures. Put an Out Of Order Sign on it and called the number on the coin machine to leave a message. Bottom left dryer in main room and maybe the other bottom plus around the corner are only dryers that may actually work without a sign on them… that’s 50% of dryers. Floor hasn’t mopped and/or swept in several days/weeks. Disappointed I must say especially with what a gem Philipsburg town is in general. If you run a business maintain it or invest in new equipment. Hope I get refunded (more about principle than the actual money) and then I may return and change my Review rating, otherwise do your laundry by their washing machines and hang dry wherever your camped if in this area when your passing through.

As an east coaster, pizza was one of the things I knew I’d miss when I moved to Pburg. Friday Night Pizza is recently under new ownership, and they are doing a WONDERFUL job. The pizza is delicious with a crispy crust, the garlic knots are a must, and the owners are incredibly kind and obviously care about their business. If you’re in the area, you have to give it a try 🙂
