What truly sets this restaurant apart is the heart behind it. Jose and Jay had poured their blood, sweat and tears into this family owned restaurant. You can feel the passion in both the kitchen and the service.
We have a Mexican restaurant a mile from our house in Oak Ridge. We drive to Kernersville to Fridas where Jose and Jay treat us like family.

Frida’s is such a fun and welcoming place. I went with some girlfriends for a make-your-own bouquet event on the patio and had the best time. The owner is the sweetest and very attentive to customers. The mango margarita and fish tacos were delicious!

Gorgeous paintings and murals. The food was really great. Can’t wait to bring my hubs to experience this gem. Met halfway with a friend, our waiter was attentive and had a great personality. Was surprised at how great the refried beans were, had a Smokey flavor. Chimichangas were so good!

Nice lil Mexican spot. Went here for lunch. The front hostess was very nice. The food was great and ALOT! Had the burrito San Jose and the Nachos Supremos. Both were delicious. I’ll be back to try more on the menu

Quesabirria was excellent and priced well. Served with rice and two big chunks of lime. Service was great. Can’t wait to go back and try drinks and dessert.

2nd time coming in and love the drinks and service! At the bar, Bryan did amazing and today my servers Delani and Isela were so attentive and made the patio such a wonderful experience. Will definitely be coming back! 10/10 get the house margarita!

My wife and I happened upon this absolute GEM while passing through Kernersville, NC. It may have been an accidental stop, but it’s definitely a destination for us now.
The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating, the atmosphere was warm and inviting (the art alone is worth noticing), and the food was fantastic! I had the Frida Burrito, which was terrific, and she had the Chicken Chipotle Tacos. The burrito was hard to top, but those tacos absolutely stole the show. I don’t know what they put in those tortillas, but they were perfect.
And if you’ve never tried chorizo queso, this is the place to be introduced to it. We had it with mushrooms, and it was outstanding!
Can’t say enough good things about the food, the people, or the experience at Frida’s. We’ll be back!

We had the layer dip and the mixed fajitas. Everything was so delicious and fresh. The server, Dayanna was amazing. Aside from the food being incredible the service was next level. Highly recommend this wonderful place. Ask for Dayanna to be your server, you wont be disappointed.
