Had a great Friday evening at Frida during their happy hour which has amazing deals. Our server, Emma, was phenomenal and took great care of us despite having a lot of tables. She did an amazing job. The shrimp taco, guac, and esquites are superb.

I always love to discover new gems around. We had dinner, we had the sampler, margaritas and chicken bowl. Everything was delicious!!! Our server was welcoming and friendly. The cool plus in this place is the unique decoration and design, it is really cool, I love it!!!

We could tell that the group that runs this spot has it’s act together and we’re interested to try their other restaurants. The food was delicious and priced reasonably for what you get. We ordered too many things but that’s how we do at places that interest us. Brussel Spouts and peanuts – who knew? Their queso is more like queso fundido rather than cheesy sauce. There wasn’t a lot of it, which was probably a good thing haha. The person who sat us – management we thought, was great. Our server was young, confidently direct and must have had tables in another part of the restaurant because she always seemed to be in a hurry to be somewhere else – even though the restaurantt wasn’t at all busy. She also didn’t care to keep our table neat, which is a turnoff. More is a hard sell if the wreckage of what has already been smashed is still on the table. We’ll be back.

We came for early dinner om Friday night. No reservations required. But if you have more than 3-4 persons, it’s better to have reservations. The food is overall okay. Not that tasty in my opinion. I don’t think i will come back. Tried it once and it’s enough. Our server was too busy with other tables. The music was too loud and didn’t go with the restaurant theme.

Fridas might have the best chips and queso in Cincinnati. The al pastor taco was packed with flavor and had the perfect amount of spice. I would absolutely recommend trying one. The margaritas were also well balanced. We really enjoyed the food and would try it again.

Came in during happy hour and had the best time. Our server was kind, attentive and we got all of our times quickly! The spicy marg was delicious. I am always coming back for the brussel sprout tacos. You can’t go wrong with any of their salsas and this time we got them all. A fav of mine

I love Frida Kahlo, and it made it so much better that the food and margaritas were excellent! I love the decorations and the enchiladas were amazing! My daughter loved the “build your own taco” item on the kids’ menu, and she normally doesn’t like tacos (even ate the shredded lettuce by itself!)

I stopped in looking for some good Mexican food but found more of an eclectic twist on traditional fare. I had the empanadas and decided to stop there. They were ok but nothing to write home about. I found $6 each for a taco a la carte to be a bit more than I wanted to spend on one. The margarita was not very good either. The only thing extensive on the menu, was the prices.

I’ll not be visiting this one again.

I loved the outdoor seating area. Everything was tasty, especially the Empanada with chimichuri and all the salsas they provide in the salsa sampler. However, it would be great to see some more dishes on the menu, and also they need to add more vegetarian options, one of my friend was vegetarian and she was disappointed with the options. Also, there’s a paid parking lot next to it.

I wouldn’t say traditional Mexican cuisine…. it’s a Mex/Fusion with great food!
Recommend this restaurant when you are in the area.
We’ll be back.
p.s. our server Matt did a fantastic job.
